2021 Cadillac XT5 Powertrain Specifications
The upcoming 2021 Cadillac XT5 will come with a 3.6-liter V6 engine under the hood. This engine is connected to a new 9-speed automatic. However, the current model can generate 310 hp and 270 lb. torque with the same engine, and we can expect more power with the new engine. According to the latest rumors, the new XT5 will be able to save about 350 HP. It comes standard with front wheel drive. In addition, customers can also get all-wheel drive with both Luxury and Premium Luxury and standard in sporty style.
The next and new engine is the 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine. This engine is connected to the same 9-speed automatic gearbox and can provide 237 hp and 258 lb. torque. A new electronically controlled braking system has been installed to replace the conventional vacuum booster system. As for fuel consumption, the exact classification is not yet available, but we assume that the four-cylinder turbocharger will provide better fuel consumption.
