2021 Land Rover Range Rover Review – Design, Engine, Release date and Price
Given that the current generation of full size SUV has been around since 2012, the completely redesigned 2021 Land Rover Range Rover looks perfect. The premium SUV category is becoming more colorful nowadays, as many luxury car makers offer new models such as BMW X7. That is why the British company is introducing an entirely new version of its popular model.
For this occasion we are about to see many developments. Of course there will be an entirely new design, but what seems more interesting at the moment is that the company is preparing a whole bunch of electrified versions for the redesign. We’ll see hybrid, air-conditioned and possibly even fully electric versions of the new model, which will arrive in two years.
2021 Land Rover Range Rover fully electrified
As we just said, the 2021 Land Rover Range Rover will be completely redesigned and one of the most interesting things about this review will be an entirely new powertrain group. This time the focus is on electrification. The current generation comes with a single hybrid version plus a light hybrid in the range. The new model is likely to come up with a similar approach, at least when it comes to the traditional hybrid model. It still depends on a six-cylinder engine, but it comes with more power and better overall efficiency.
On the other hand, the latest reports point to an all-new hybrid powertrain, also based on a six-cylinder engine, with much more power compared to the current 404 hp. Finally, there is also a great opportunity to see a fully electric version in range. Since Jaguar has recently released a number of completely amazing and electric models, we have no doubt that Land Rover has enough resources to develop a system that can deliver excellent performance for a huge SUV.
This of course does not mean that Land Rover is about to drop all conventional powertrain options. We rely on gasoline engines with six and eight cylinders in the kit, plus at least one diesel options.
2021 Land Rover Range Rover Exterior
In addition to a full range of new powertrain options, this redesign will also bring many more novelties. Since there are all kinds of electrified versions on the road, it’s not hard to conclude that the new model will work on the company’s new MLA platform, which also promises to improve efficiency, handling, etc. Of course we are also counting on the new design. Dramatic changes are unlikely to be seen. The new 2021 Land Rover Range Rover comes with evolutionary changes, in the same direction as the new Velar.
Of course, there are a number of exclusive details. Another aspect we expect is the further development of the amazing off road assistance functions, which makes this SUV one of the most capable devices on the market. However, this does not mean much if the company does not improve the poor reliability of this model, which is the main reason why we are unable to name the current generation as an easy to use method as is the case with Toyota Land Cruiser.

2021 Land Rover Range Rover Interior
According to some reliable sources, the new 2021 Land Rover Range Rover will be more luxurious than the current model. The company allegedly wants to make the SUV distinctive, not only in terms of premium off-road capabilities, but also with some of the most luxurious cabins out there. This makes perfect sense, as competition is becoming increasingly difficult these days and the Range Rover definitely needs something new to maintain its position in the market.
2021 Land Rover Range Rover release date and price
The next generation is still at an early stage of development, so we expect to see it somewhere in about two years. Regarding the price, the current model starts around $ 90,000.
