The German manufacturer will also offer more standard features in the base model and introduce new technology. The same four turbo engine is available
The 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLA will come close to using the same engine as its predecessor. It is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder with a turbocharger. In addition, this engine uses an 8-speed automatic transmission with double clutch. Unlike the CLA’s 7-speed gearbox, the new transmission definitely ensures smoother shift and better ride quality.
The regular model produces 221 hp. However, if you want a better performance, the AMG variant generates 302 hp with the same engine. If you’re looking for an off-road adventure, the GLA 250 4Matic with all-wheel drive system takes you there. In addition, this alternative offers a standard off-road package. There is speculation about a plug-in hybrid release and could first appear shortly after the EQA model.
2021 Mercedes-Benz GLA price and release date
The all-new 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLA starts at around $ 40,000. Once it arrives, this SUV will compete with the Audi Q3 and BMW X2. In addition, Land Rover Range Rover Evoque is another serious contender.
