BMW has officially confirmed its plans to release a station wagon version of the upcoming sixth generation M3. When it finally arrives on the UK market, it will be the first official M-Performance version of the 3 Series Touring, and in direct competition with the Mercedes-AMG C 63 Estate and the Audi RS 4 Avant.
The car was officially pictured in a teaser in the shadows and now in a short video that the manufacturer posted on Instagram showing a prototype covered during testing. The photo confirms that the car’s design will follow the new 2022 BWM M3 sedan, which was also spied on during testing, as evidenced by our exclusive designs.
It has also been confirmed that the new BMW M3 Touring will be equipped with a six-cylinder petrol engine with a twin-turbocharger. It’s the same 3.0-liter powertrain found in the X3 M and X4 M SUVs, which means the hot M3 station wagon should have 503 hp and 600 Nm of torque.
The new 2022 BWM M3 Touring will have the same all-wheel drive system as the 2022 BWM M3 sedan, allowing the driver to deliver 100 percent of the engine’s power to the rear wheels. BMW has also confirmed that the station wagon will have a wider track than the standard car, which should be equipped with an improved suspension and larger brakes.
BMW says the M3 Touring is still in the early stages of a two-year development cycle, so it’s unlikely the car will be ready until 2022 at the earliest. The first experimental mules are now conducting road tests, along with several track-based prototypes, which will undergo a rigorous testing cycle in the Nürburgring.
Our exclusive artwork shows what the final M3 Touring will look like, and BMW has confirmed that it will share some of its cosmetic modifications with the standard M3.
The camouflaged images of the M3 Touring confirm the drastic changes compared to the regular Touring Series 3, but the 2022 BWM M3 will also adopt the large vertical kidney grille used to make a controversial impact on the new Series 4 and the subsequent M4.
BMW developed a prototype M3 Touring in operation in 2000 based on the E46 M3 generation, with an in-line six-cylinder engine producing 338 hp, but it never launched the model.
2022 BWM M3 Display
The upcoming 2022 BWM M3 will have another offer. This time, gives us an idea of what a possible rear view of the new M3 looks like. The rendering is based on several previously leaked images, including this one. In this view we can see that the rear wheel arches enlarge, similar to those of the current BMW M3 F80. The bumper features an impressive quad tailpipe, although it looks a bit smaller than usual in this photo.
On the standard model, there is a fluffy spoiler at the top of the trunk. The sportier model, like the CS, is likely to have a more aggressive lip. As you’d expect, the roof is also made of carbon fiber. The introduction isn’t shown here, but we’ve seen a lot of leaks with a very large kidney grille. It can also be seen in this view.
When the BMW M3 G80 is first introduced, it will be powered by the same new S58 engine as the BMW X3 M and X4 M. So it will be a 3.0-liter i6 with a twin-turbocharged 473 hp as standard. At launch, a competitor model will also be available with the same engine but with 503 hp. For this tracking, 503 hp is the same as the Mercedes-AMG C63 S. However, it is slightly less than 505 hp than the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio.
The new BMW M3 G80 will also be the first M3 in history to operate all four wheels. According to our sources, there will be two models; Rear-wheel drive model and all-wheel drive model; It represents the first known performance model. The rear-wheel drive M3 will be available with an eight-speed manual transmission or an automatic gearbox, while the all-wheel drive vehicle will only be automatic.

2022 BWM M3 specification
When BMW reveals that it will build a wagon version of the upcoming 2022 BWM M3, testing of the car will begin at the Nürburgring. Well the end is coming, which makes us really look at the design for the first time. Yes, there is a schedule.
Yesterday BMW M’s Instagram page posted a short video of the M3 Touring donkey covered in camouflage as it left the factory outside the Nürburgring. From the rear B-pillar, it looks identical to its sibling, with the same dashboard, same headlights and a dual box-like grille.
Things are a little different when you look back. Standard 3 Series car bodies have bumpers that light up to fit the wider tires, and the fenders are duplicated to match the car’s distinct quad exhaust setup. In the video above, we also treated a short car audio clip, and it was cute.
The M3 Touring will share the powertrain with its sedan sibling, which means the S58 twin-turbo 3.0-liter straight-six is comparable to the X3 and X4 M powertrains, and produces between 480 and 510 hp depending on who trim. It is unclear if the car will also be available with a manual gearbox.
A spokesperson for BMW North America assured us earlier this month that the M3 Touring will not enter the US market, which is a shame. Since hardly anyone else will buy buggies in America, this is not surprising. Let us know in the comments if you think BMW should run the M3 Touring in the US.
2022 BWM M3 engine
Under the hood, the new M3 Touring comes with a 3.0-liter turbocharged six-cylinder engine like the M3 Limousine and M4 Coupe. Expect 480 hp in the standard model and 510 hp in further racing form.
Not only will the new 2022 BWM M3 family be the first to have a true Touring model, but it is also expected to be offered with the optional xDrive all-wheel drive system for the first time. For the standard M3 limousine, xDrive is being sold after the traditional rear-wheel drive vehicle.
A six-speed manual will be offered with an “eight-speed automatic”. Unlike the previous M3 and M4, which use a dual-clutch automatic gearbox, the upcoming M3, M3 Touring and M4 will likely be offered with an eight-speed automatic transmission like the current BMW M340i, M5 and M8, albeit with a slight change in the equipment. . Soft gear proportions.
2022 BWM M3 Price and Release Date
The new 2022 BWM M3 will be announced at the end of 2020 and will go on sale before 2021. However, the Touring M3 will not make its debut until sometime in 2022. Expect it to cost several thousand pounds more than the M3.
2022 BWM M3 Touring
BMW recently launched a mega teaser for a supercar aesthetic that has caught the attention of loyal BMW users and many car enthusiasts. The joke was his all-new and powerful 2022 BWM M3 Touring. BMW released a spy video of the car.
The teaser reveals very little and forces us to imagine what the prototype would likely look like. As of now, BMW has been surprisingly quiet and discreet about the much-anticipated M3 details. Mystery surrounds the car. At the start of the 2000s, BMW built a prototype of the M3 that was sadly rejected. However, the wait for the M3 has been long and arduous because they say “good things come to those who wait.”

2022 BWM M3 Touring The good, the bad and the ugly
The M3 is unlikely to appear before the end of 2022, despite its popularity. The BMW M3 has some irresistible new features, but it also appears to have some flaws. According to the sources, BMW may release more information at the end of September 2020.
2022 BWM M3 Touring Engine and features
The one place BMW continues to amaze us, the M3 engine looks equally impressive. However, not much is known about it. As expected, the new BMW M3 will boast a powerful 473 hp and possibly 503 hp for the competing version.
Equipped with a 3-liter, 6-cylinder, twin-turbocharger, it is suitable for all types of riders and drivers. Vehicle ventilation is unparalleled. The powerful, versatile engine matches the look of the car, which has just graced us with a few clicks.
BMW has provided us with two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive options that take into account the requirements of both the newer and older generation. This pick from BMW may seem small and insignificant, but it could be a game-changer
Beauty, the beast, or both?
Despite having many great features, accompanied by a very powerful engine and powerful body, the highly anticipated and highly anticipated 2022 BWM M3 Touring seems to have a small list of shortcomings.
Firstly, the 2022 BWM M3 Touring has not lost its large weird-faced face. This was lost in its previous generation. This move was greatly appreciated by some and many felt BMW alienated the new models. The continuing tradition of the grand mesh seems to elicit mixed reactions.
Second, and much to the disappointment of us, the BMW M3 may not be mass-produced as its counterparts like the M3 sedan or the all-classic M4.
Finally, the 2022 BWM M3 Touring will be a great product and give us a great ride. It bears the burden of a huge company known for producing the best cars in the world. However, there may be some design changes that some people may not like. The M3 will be a high-quality engine, but it cannot be said with certainty whether it will be able to create ripples across the universe. The M3 is expected to launch in 2022.
