Dodge Charger Daytona with a huge rear wing and a stuffed nose. To celebrate its 50th anniversary, Dodge might recall a banner for the Limited Daytona Charger for the 2022 model year. It’s called the 2022 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Widebody Daytona 50th Anniversary Edition, and it’s as tall, just like 1969, Dodge will limit production to 501 cars.

2022 Dodge Charger Daytona specifications
What sets 2022 Dodge Charger Daytona apart from the wide-bodied Hellcat Charger it powers are the “Daytona” rear quarter stickers and the matching back cover and spoilers. The color shown above, Blue B5, is exclusive to Daytona. However, you can have three more colors: Pitch Black, Triple Nickel, and White Knuckle. “Daytona” branding is white on the B5 Blue, black tone and Triple Nickel, plus blue on the White Knuckle show. Inside, the “Daytona” brand continues with the name embroidered on black Nappa leather and the suede backrests. Dodge definitely thought so, and with the breather introduction of the 2022 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Widebody Daytona 50th Anniversary Edition, the Charger finally picks up the 10-hp that will be accepted by the Hellcat’s Challenger SRT for the 2019 model year.
While it would be nearly impossible to make the round nose and wing fly high altitude from the 1969 Dodge Charger The Daytona of the current production vehicle, the 2022 Charger for the 50th Anniversary Edition is not a graphic backline. It also receives the unique Decklid “Daytona” and Daytona’s exclusive Blue B5 paint.

A set of 20 ” x 11 ” Warp Speed wheels with a unique satin carbon wrapped performance 305 / 35ZR Pirelli all-season tire (three-season tires are optional) provides traction while Black Brembo’s six-piston front and four-piston rear brakes provide the rotor with Ventilation does his best to clear speed.
Like the Challenger, the 10-hp improvements the 2022 Dodge Charger Daytona has undergone a revised powertrain calibration. Dodge isn’t listed if the calibration is to carry over the rest of the Hellcat Charger lineup, but it looks like an obvious move.
As a reminder, the 1969 Daytona Charger was specifically designed for NASCAR racing, and the concept car was the first to record a spin speed of over 200 mph, a record that has lasted for 17 years. Only 501 units will be produced, which is enough to meet the requirements for series homogeneity production. Fittingly, the Dodge 501 will only make a copy of the 2022 Dodge Charger Daytona.

The interior nodule of the original Daytona includes blue stitching on a ventilated black leather and faux-leather sports seat with a “Daytona”. Blue accents continue inside and appear in the center console of the armrests, door panels, armrests, dashboards and keys.
The flat-bottom steering wheel has a silver contrast and blue stitching accent, while the plush floor rug has blue stitching. The dashboards and center console surround are made from carbon fiber and the faux suede front bushings complete the look. And since the Limited Edition makes no sense without making a call, the dedicated IP badge on the passenger side with the Hellcat and Daytona logos identifies each vehicle as an X of the 501.
The special will make its official debut in In-The-Metal on Saturday, August 17 at the modern Street Hemi Shootout event at the annual Woodward Dream Cruise in Pontiac, Michigan. On the infotainment system side, the Uconnect feature in the 2022 Dodge Charger Redeye is an industry favorite and one of the best in its class. Not only that, the infotainment package of the new Dodge Charger 2022 includes SiriusXM satellite, HD Radio, SiriusXM Guardian service, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth streaming integration, CD / DVD / MP3 compatibility, Assistant and USB inputs.
There is an optional Uconnect 4C Nav that tends to take strange and confusing routes and is preferred to continue using Android or Apple navigation system.
For convenience, the available audio system is guided by the Alpine six-speaker audio system with a 276-watt subwoofer, so you can hear clear sound and hear the ears with the best ZZ-Top songs. Sadly, the 19-speaker Harman Kardon audio system will lose the battle with an extremely powerful V8 growl and a whirring supercharger.
