The latest reports indicate that the new 2022 Honda Civic will make its debut next spring and will carry a new design language. The upcoming model will offer several improvements, according to the manufacturer.
As before, the Civic will be available as a sedan and hatchback. From what we’ve heard, the Japanese automaker is cutting its compact and semi-compact offerings for 2021. The reason is simple: Honda Civic hatchback and HR-V are slashing sales.
2022 Honda Civic exterior design
The highly anticipated 2022 Honda Civic will undergo several cosmetic changes that will make it appear more aggressive. The manufacturer did an excellent job up front with LED headlights and an attractive grille, which gave this model an even more premium look. The following options can be found between models as the LX hatchback, EX, EX-L and Touring sedan. This engine consists of a 1.5-liter inline-4 turbocharged engine that delivers 174 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque.
The SI variant will also use the same 1.5-liter turbocharged inline 4 engine, but it will deliver 205 horsepower and 192 lb-ft of torque. Finally, the Type R could use a 2.0-liter turbocharged inboard engine capable of delivering 306 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque. A six-speed manual transmission is available as standard at the lower edges and is replaced by a Continuously Variable Automatic Transmission (CVT) at the top. Each model uses front wheel drive, while the Si and Type R provide a helical limited-slip differential for added power.

2022 Honda Civic Release date and price
The latest 2022 Honda Civic cars have been confirmed and will arrive next year in 2022. According to the latest release from the manufacturer, the upcoming model will have many improvements over the previous model. The design is improving and so we can expect a more spacious and technical cabin.
