2022 Infiniti QX80 Full Review
The new QX60 builds on the new Monograph concept. The company introduced this platform a few years ago and now it is being used with the next generation of the upcoming luxury SUV. Next to get the same treatment is the 2022 Infiniti QX80 full-size. Nissan, the owner of the luxury brand, is entering a new season with vigor and the company is updating all major vehicles. Rogue has already come out, and so has the QX60. In 2022, we will see a refresh of the Qashqai (Rogue Sport) truck, the Frontier truck, the 400Z sports car (a replacement for the 370Z) and of course the QX80.
The Monograph concept will support all future large SUVs of the Japanese company. The platform was introduced in 2017 with a bold appearance and a sophisticated interior. Five years later, the architecture of the 2022 Infiniti QX80 will completely shine, although the QX60 will use some fixes first. The life of the current SUV is more than 10 years. Although there are two reviews, this is still an outdated model. The last update we saw in 2018. Now the new generation will completely update the exterior and interior, making the QX80 a competitor to the Cadillac Escalade and Lincoln Navigator.
The situation in the large-size luxury SUV category is not very rosy. Not many companies are involved. Honda, for example, does not offer such a model for the Acura brand, while Toyota could park its legendary Land Cruiser for the American market. German car manufacturers dominate this segment. The Mercedes GLS is hugely popular and you can expect the BMW X7 to shine bright in the coming seasons. Audi Q9 is also on the road. Land Rover Range Rover is one of the more expensive models and the general price of these vehicles makes it less attractive to buyers.

2022 Infiniti QX80 monogaph concept
When Infiniti introduced the Monograph conception, the entire request was astonished. Not only was it design but the interior also attracted a lot of attention. This wasn’t one of the unborn prototypes that would be insolvable in the near future. The SUV should be commodious, and accommodate seven people. The ease of use of the hack is unmatched. We also anticipate big effects from independent driving since Nissan blazoned Position 4. On the outside, the prototype carried 22- inch bus. It might be available in high- end trim situations, but the lower performances will use lower bezels.
2022 Infiniti QX80 Redesign
The Japanese company is rearranging accessories in its lineup. The QX80 dropped the Limited Model 2021 season and replaced it with two additional editions and different features. The next generation 2022 Infiniti QX80 may retain some of these options, for example Premium Select. Excellent trim is already available for some of the other compounds. On the other hand, Sensory is something new for Infiniti fans.
The Premium Select continues to use 22-inch wheels, as does the discontinued Limited model. Numerous chrome details stand out, both inside and out. The company introduced two new cabin paint sprayers, Sahara Stone and Truffle Brown. It certainly won’t be dropped after just one year. On the other hand, Sensory was an optional upgrade to the limited edition. This trim level now uses the most advanced accessories that INFINITI has to offer. The semi-aniline leather seats, the Bose premium sound system and the second row passenger entertainment system are bargains on the market. Additionally, the 2022 Infiniti QX80 comes with advanced safety features such as adaptive headlights, power steering with cruise sensors and parking assistance.

2022 Infiniti QX80 specifications
Expect more changes under the hood of the 2022 Infiniti QX80. The company does not reveal its plans, but a full-size SUV could replace an old and hungry V8 unit. The 5.6 liter displacement is ideal for off-road trips. But it consumes a lot of gasoline. Alternatively, a small V8, or even a V6, with the help of a turbo system, could function as a new unit for the QX80. Even if the SUV kept a reliable old engine capable of producing 400 hp and 415 lb-ft.
Some say even a 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6 could be available for an SUV. Nissan fans know this powertrain of the GTR sports car. But 570 hp seems too much for the base version. However, the QX80 and the Special Edition can compete with the BMW X5M, Mercedes AMG GLS, and Range Rover SVAutobiography. These are some of the most powerful SUVs on the market.
However, something else must be available for the entry-level model. It wouldn’t be surprising if the company kept the V8. If you’re paying $ 70k for the trip, the fuel-friendly nature is definitely a priority. Typically, a higher MPG speed means a decrease in power and towing capacity. Hence, it is likely that the existing power plant will be modernized.
