The all-new 2022 Jeep Grand Wagoneer will be on the market within a year. This SUV is still in the concept stage. As you know, turning a concept into a production model is difficult and manufacturers usually take a slightly different approach. The Grand Wagoneer will be one of those models that should deviate from the original idea.

2022 Jeep Grand Wagoneer headlights will be different
The Grand Wagoneer concept was introduced with many interesting features. However, some parts of the 2022 Jeep Grand Wagoneer will have to be replaced. For starters, the Matrix headlights will not happen. The concept was showcased with the well-known seven-slot grille and vertical small LED lights between the slats. It looks great and old fashioned. The “Dot Matrix” effect will not be available as we saw in our last test mule. Additionally, the full-width LED strip appears to have been removed as well.
On the other hand, we don’t know exactly what the forehead will look like. At this point, we can confirm that you should forget about the concept’s Dot Matrix LEDs. Another interesting feature of the concept is the teak headlight surround. It’s an excellent approach that adds a unique look to the foreground. 2022 Jeep Grand Wagoneer interior does not offer many screens
The interior design of the 2022 Jeep Grand Wagoneer is just as important as the exterior. The concept comes with five screens, which is a very interesting setup. Jeep has an idea where one screen replaces the instrument panel, a second screen for the control system, and a third for climate control. If you add two kids screens on the back, you get five screen options.
This is unlikely to happen for a number of reasons. Instead, Jeep will definitely take a more traditional approach, perhaps with the two screens. Imagine the price of an SUV that offers five standard touchscreen options. This is just crazy.
2022 Jeep Grand Wagoneer specifications
This is arguably the only category in which Jeb refused to provide further details. The 2022 Jeep Grand Wagoneer will use the same platform as the regular Wagoneer SUV. It’s a body build on a frame and even a Ram 1500 truck uses it. Thanks to that, we think the Grand Wagoneer will use the familiar V6 and V8 petrol engines.

The 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6 is another possibility, but nothing is official yet. However, the highlight will be the plug-in hybrid variant. Some reports predict a twin-engine setup, borrowed from the Chrysler Pacifica minivan. This configuration combines a hybrid setup with a powerful V6 petrol engine.
2022 Jeep Grand Wagoneer release date
The upcoming 2022 Jeep Grand Wagoneer has yet to be revealed. Jeep will introduce its new three-row SUV this summer. This means that sales are likely to start in the first quarter of 2022. The price is not yet known.
