2022 Lincoln Nautilus Full Reviews

Nautilus is one of the youngest members of the Lincoln lineup. It debuted in 2019, and it looks like 2022 will be too early for a redesign. The company made some changes in 2021 YM. However, the upcoming Lincoln Nautilus in 2022 is about to catch the eye. This is a mid-range luxury SUV with two rows. Models with greater capacity are gaining popularity. But Nautilus does have its advantages. The lighter body makes the SUV more agile and efficient. So if you need more space, you can always spend more and have an Aviator.

One of the things that makes us wonder is the lack of a hybrid setup. The aforementioned pilot was upgraded last season and now under the hood we find a massive PHEV configuration with nearly 500 hp. The 2022 Lincoln Nautilus Hybrid is likely to match the lighter lineup. Or there would be no such variant and the manufacturer Mark E would launch an all-electric SUV based on the Nautilus.

Aside from updating the powertrain team, we don’t expect a major facelift for the upcoming SUV. There aren’t many competitors in the two-row segment and Nautilus is still fairly new. For the 2021 season, the US automaker will make some changes to improve safety, comfort and convenience.

2022 Lincoln Nautilus Hybrid

A few years ago, Presidents promised that every board in its group would introduce a hybrid or EV powertrain. It may sound funny in 2017 or 2018, when there were no such vehicles in the team. But look now – the Escape Hybrid is the most efficient 44 mpg compact crossover; Mach E is an all-electric, zero-emissions SUV, and the premium Lincoln Aviator can produce 494 hp. You can be sure every other model will be electrified sooner or later.

So, what are the odds of seeing a 2022 Lincoln Nautilus Hybrid? Well it’s hard to say right now. The car was on the ‘to do’ list, but the COVID-19 outbreak changed the plans not just for Ford and Lincoln, but across the entire auto industry. Interest may be revived in the second half of 2021.

Lincoln Mark E – Nautilus-based EV

This is not a surprise. However, the American company keeps most of the information confidential. The Mark E. is the little brother of the Ford Mach E, the automaker’s first SUV. It will also compete with Cadillac Lyric. The car will likely bear most of the similarities to a 2022 Lincoln Nautilus, but other sources claim Ford will partner with Rivian. The R1S is one of the most anticipated SUVs in the electric car category. So it would be fun to see a mixture of two philosophies in the real world. However, the EV will not be available that fast. Production may start in late 2022 and an SUV will be released in 2023 YM.

2022 Lincoln Nautilus Preference

With slight changes in the 2022 Lincoln Nautilus, we can count on the same range of trim levels. The standard and spare models are what this SUV has to offer, while the Black Label is the class itself. The basic package includes faux leather seats, power tailgate and 18-inch wheels. However, you can increase the size to 21 inches. The Co-Pilot360 Safety Package is standard, as is a 12-inch infotainment screen.

2022 Lincoln Nautilus will add heated and ventilated front trays, hands-free tailgate function and larger wheels. The panoramic sunroof catches a lot of attention. The infotainment system gets support from the 13 Revel speakers. Optionally, you can add massage function front seats with the Ultra-Comfort Package.

2022 Lincoln Nautilus Black Label themes

Like every Lincoln, this midsize SUV gets a special treatment thanks to its Black Label finish. A V6 engine is standard here and the drivetrain has been tuned for a sporty ride. Revel adds more speakers for surround sound. But the most impressive thing about the 2022 Lincoln Nautilus Black Label is its interior design. The Chalet, Gala, and Authentic are still the blueprints for the Special Edition SUV. Well, the price might be a deal breaker here, as the Black Label bundle is available starting at $ 55,000.

2022 Lincoln Nautilus Release date and prices

However, the entry-level version of the 2022 Lincoln Nautilus will cost no more than $ 42,000. The reserve model will cost just under $ 50,000 and the hybrid model should be on par. As mentioned, Black Label adds at least $ 15K, and with some options, the price goes up. More details about the SUV and its upgrades will be revealed in the second half of 2021. The main goal is currently to upgrade the Navigator and create a hybrid truck. The Nautilus redesign comes soon after.
