All the leading car sources claiming that the Patrol spy photos are a preview of the 2022 Nissan Armada. That’s an easy guess, but we still can’t tell much about the large hoods on the body. Well, camouflage will decrease in 2020 and even then we have to rely on other sources. The upgrade includes a new front fascia and possibly a lighter body. It will improve fuel economy and maneuverability. However, don’t expect much from the Armada if it doesn’t get a hybrid configuration.

2022 Nissan Armada engine remains the same

There is no doubt that the 2022 Nissan Armada will continue to use a large V8. It is a 5.6-liter unit capable of producing 400 hp and 415 lb-ft of torque. It’s more than what a Toyota Land Cruiser or Sequoia could do with its 5.7-liter engine. But Nissan‘s competitor is considering replacing it with a more efficient system. There is no diesel option for the 2022 Nissan Armada

The Nissan Titan is the other model with a 5.6 liter engine. The bigger version, the Titan XD, offered another option: a diesel engine. With 335 horsepower and 555 lb-ft of torque, it was a powerful engine with great potential. For a long time we expected a displacement of 5.0 liters on the large SUV, but this never happened.
