The 2023 BMW Alpina XB7 was launched yesterday with a new design and more technologies. The update also comes with the updated 2023 BMW Alpina XB7. Alpina got its first look at the new flagship SUV, which will receive further visual and other improvements to distinguish it from the regular X7. The upgrade includes more power and plenty of Alpina branding inside and out.
2023 BMW Alpina XB7 Powertrain
The updated 2023 BMW Alpina XB7 also got a revised X7 powertrain (pictured below). The Alpina uses a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 with mild-hybrid technology that produces 621 hp (457 kW) and 800 Nm (800 Nm) of torque in the XB7. The V8 X7 engine produces 523 hp (390 kW). The V8 engine from Alpina is connected to an eight-speed automatic gearbox.

Alpina delivers extra power with a different engine, executive and supercooled tyre. Alpina’s added tenacity made it hit 62 mph (100 kph) in 4.2 seconds. It has a top speed of 290 km/h and can reach 200 km/h in 14.9 seconds.
Inside, the Alpina will benefit from the X7’s improved infotainment system, which uses the latest eight iDrive settings. The company also offers SUVs with the BMW Professional Parking Assistant system as standard equipment. Other Alpina touches include a leather steering wheel with Alpina blue and green stitching and an illuminated gear lever.
The car features a BMW lighting grille and special 21-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 285/45R21 tires, although the Alpina also offers an optional 23-inch 20-spoke unit. The SUV also got unique dampers, with the air suspension providing up to 1.6 inches (40 mm) of travel.

2023 BMW Alpina XB7 model for sale in USA
Models targeting the US market won’t enter production until December 2022. BMW Alpina says the order book will open in September, also for the right-hand variant. Certain left-handed markets will begin receiving shipments before the end of the year. Details of standard equipment and option prices for the 2023 BMW Alpina XB7 will be available in the first half of May, and Alpina will also launch a vehicle configurator.
