The highly anticipated 2023 BMW X5 M is in the pipeline. This high-performance SUV was spied for the first time. Like the regular X5, the X5 M gets the same visual updates. The result is really amazing. The manufacturer will offer another facelift mid-cycle, so the changes aren’t that significant. On the other hand, expect some surprises once the camouflage is turned off.

2023 BMW X5 M Spy Shots
A new prototype of the improved 2023 BMW X5 M has been spotted during testing. We originally saw the restyled SUV four months ago, but it kept the same chassis as the previous model, but with a pair of distinctive headlights. On the other hand, this concept SUV features a redesigned front end that has been camouflaged to hide some new design elements.
The front of the current model is distinguished by the presence of two massive kidney grilles, a secondary grille placed low on the bumper and two massive air vents on either side. According to these spy photos, the revised X5 M will have the same grilles and air intakes, but slightly differently. This may also include some minor changes to the kidney grille, but they certainly won’t be as big as the current X3 M and X4 M variants.
In addition, this test car was equipped with temporary headlights with tinted lenses. We don’t mind their looks, but this is not the end product. Interestingly enough, BMW didn’t hide the rear of the SUV, but we’d be shocked if the upcoming model didn’t have a new rear bumper and revised taillights.

2023 BMW X5 M Interior Upgrades
BMW will update the interior of the X5 and X5 M variants. Thanks to this, the most notable difference will be the addition of a new digital instrument panel and infotainment screen, similar to the all-electric iX. The rest of the 2023 BMW X5 M will likely remain largely the same, save for some updated switchgear.
As before, the cabin is full of luxury items and luxuries. In addition, the X5 M variant looks more sporty than the regular X5 SUV. Expect new driver assistance functions, improved security, and more.

2023 BMW X5 M SUV delivers a lot of power
Nothing changes under the hood. The highly anticipated 2023 BMW X5 M will retain the 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 petrol engine. However, the latest reports anticipate more hits. The current model develops up to 600 horsepower and 553 pound-feet of torque. Additionally, the X5 M Competition variant has 617 horsepower. And while a hybrid powertrain will be used, the X5 M version offers no electrics of any kind.
2023 BMW X5 M Release date and price
The all-new 2023 BMW X5 M will hit dealers sometime in 2022. Most likely, this high-performance SUV will go on sale in the second half of the year. The base X5 SUV starts at around $60,000, but the X5 M version certainly costs around $100,000 or more.
