The redesigned 2023 BMW X7 has been spied on for the second time this year, and it’s camouflaged. From what we’ve seen, it looks like the next generation X7 will only arrive with a mid-cycle update.
Overall, the next X7 will come with a more radical look compared to its predecessor. It’s not clear what BMW plans to do with the engines, but there is a lot of speculation about it. The current X7 offers 6 and V8 inline units, including a powerful V8 engine. We also expect BMW to introduce its next generation seventh generation at the same time as the X7.

2023 BMW X7 Redesign
As mentioned, the next generation 2023 BMW X7 will get some moderate upgrades here and there. At first glance, we noticed that the X7’s face would be overhauled thanks to the split headlights and a new grille. Changes at the front also include the placement of a lower LED headlight, which should result in a darker appearance.
Due to changes to all other X models, the front grille can be split in this facelift. However, changes in depth will be minimal. As we can see, there is a new design for the lower front and the manufacturer has added a new exhaust tip as well as a slightly revised taillight.
2023 BMW X7 Interior rumors
The interior of the new 2023 BMW X7 can also be updated with more materials and technology. Unfortunately, there is not a single spy shot inside. It is possible that the interior of the upcoming X7 will be updated with the same technology designed for the next seventh series.
This means that the upcoming BMW X7 will be a step forward in the world of luxury compared to the current generation. Overall, we expect the X7 to come with a 10.25-inch touchscreen, Wi-Fi, satellite radio, two USB ports, navigation, gesture control, and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto smartphone integration. The Harman Kardon surround sound system with 464W/16 speakers should also be standard.

2023 BMW X7 Powertrain Specification
It’s not clear what BMW will offer under the hood of the X7, but there is a lot of speculation about it. The current X7 is powered by a selection of motors.
It all starts with a standard inline-6 engine and moves up to V8 units, including a powerful V8. Since the X7 uses a CLAR platform that supports electric powertrains, a plug-in option is likely. It is also intended for the upcoming 7 series. In fact, the electric prototype of the seventh series is already being tested.

The current 2023 BMW X7 is produced at the BMW plant in Spartanburg, South Carolina. So it will be the same case with an updated version. We also heard a lot of rumors about the X8, and that it will be closely related to the X7.
