2023 Dodge Barracuda Full Review New

It is said that the new 2023 Dodge Barracuda could return next year. At the moment there is no official confirmation, but every day we hear some speculation about his return.

First of all, this powerful car was one of the most famous cars in America and is also known as the Plymouth Barracuda. It was an instant hit in the 1960s thanks to its two-door design with a hardtop and convertible shape. However, when this model comes out next year, it will look completely different. Some renders have just surfaced and the upcoming model may be closely related to the Dodge Challenger.

2023 Dodge Barracuda Exterior Design

The new 2023 Dodge Barracuda, as many rumors indicate, will be even more aggressive than before. As mentioned, the upcoming muscle car will likely borrow many styling cues from its sibling, the Dodge Challenger. We heard that the manufacturer will make this car lighter due to lightweight materials such as carbon fibre, aluminum and other materials intended for high-performance cars. If so, the Barracuda will likely be 250 pounds lighter than the competition.

2023 Dodge Barracuda Engine

The new Dodge Barracuda comes with three engine options. The first is the Hellcat 6.2-liter supercharged eight-cylinder engine which should deliver a minimum power of 707 hp and 881 Nm. This engine will be available in the latest version of the automatic transmission ZF eight. As mentioned, the new Barracuda will be based heavily on the Dodge Challenger and will use the same platform.

The next engine we’re expecting is a powerful 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 unit that will likely use the company’s eTorque 48-volt hybrid system. This engine option should provide excellent fuel economy and adequate levels of performance. The last option is the 5.7-liter HEMI V8, which also works with the same mild hybrid system. This excellent engine can develop 370 horsepower with 395 pound-feet of torque.
