Dodge has a serious plan on its technology and power lines and wants to produce so-called eMuscles. But many questioned the company’s decision on the Challenger and the Charger. These are classic American muscle tours that would be too bad to stop. It’s a good thing, though, that Dodge is going to do something about it.
At their 2021 EV Day presentation, Dodge showed that the new Challenger and 2023 Dodge Charger will be built on the new big STLA architecture. It is inspired by the Giorgio platform – from Alfa Romeo. This is the same platform used by Stelvio and Giulia. Well, Dodge is slightly tweaking this architecture to accommodate its battery-powered electric powertrain and plug-in and mild-hybrid options. This duo will continue to use the rear wheel and all-wheel drive system for their lines.

How about the patterns for a 2023 Dodge Charger? Well, Dodge suggested a modern design and look, which was reflected in the EV Day presentation.
