2023 Ford Everest is a truck-based SUV produced for the Asia Pacific market. In India, you can find this model under the name Endeavor, but it is actually the same car. The SUV is the second generation launched in 2015. The future of Everest is based on the Ranger truck. When the pickup truck reaches the new generation, more changes will be made to the SUV.
The Ford Everest Raptor remains a fan’s dream for this large SUV. Although the Raptor truck uses this all-wheel drive package outside of the US, Everest doesn’t transport it. Meanwhile, the Sport model appears to be a good alternative. It’s the top version of the lineup with great off-road equipment.

Outside the United States, Ford uses larger diesel engines. The base SUV model will carry a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo oil burner. It will deliver 215 horsepower and 370 lb-ft of torque. Some say Ford could bring this engine to the US to make the Ranger more competitive against the Chevy Colorado and Duramax diesel configuration. The biggest option for the Ford Everest is the 3.2-liter Duratorq engine. The five-cylinder engine can produce 190 horsepower and 345 pound-feet.
Of course, there are also gasoline options, which are not very popular outside the United States. There are still buyers who choose a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine with 250 horsepower and 220 pound-feet of torque.

2023 Ford Everest Raptor
The 2.3-liter four-cylinder turbo petrol engine is available for flagship vehicles such as the Pony Mustang or the popular Bronco SUV. It seems to be the perfect partner for the Ford Everest Raptor. But before that change happened, you could only buy this 300 hp unit with the Everest Sport. The Raptor Edition likely uses the same power unit as the Ranger truck. It’s a 2.2-liter turbocharged engine with 150 horsepower and 375 pound-feet of torque.
Four trim levels are available for the Ford Everest. The packages are not the same as those found in North America. In addition, there are unique options and finishes. The basic configuration is called Ambiente and includes 2WD. Inside, there’s room for five, while the towing capacity is around 7,000 pounds. This would be a good output even by American standards. Ford paid a lot of attention to safety. Emergency braking is standard, while the FordPass Connect infotainment system offers.
The Ford Everest Trend upgrades the SUV with an additional row of seats, increasing total capacity to seven and increasing towing capacity by 250 pounds. The top version in its class is titanium. We actually saw the next generation of Everest in Australia last month. Once again, however, it was covered in heavy camouflage.
Fortunately, this may be our first look at the Ford Everest, save for the big camouflage. Supposedly seen above in Thailand, the camouflaged vehicle was said to undergo a road evaluation when an eagle-eyed person managed to spot the SUV making its rounds.
For 2023, production of the next generation Ranger is likely in different parts of the world. For example, the automaker’s Thai production facilities will receive $900 million to fully modernize Ford Thailand’s manufacturing plants and the AutoAlliance Thailand joint venture.
While not immediately noticeable, the upcoming summit of Everest appears to have a more defined belt line than its predecessor. This provides the SUV with a more familiar mission compared to the previous generation.
Last but not least, the windows in the third row have already been redesigned and have more corner set. We’re not quite sure why Ford decided to revise it, although it could achieve one thing with the new cabin design.
Speaking of the cabin, photos of the all-new Everest interior aren’t usually available yet. But since the SUV is based on the Ranger, we can’t be surprised if it’ll be the same as a pickup truck.
2023 Ford Everest XLT redesign
In recent months, Ford Authority spies have seen a number of 2023 Ford Everest XLT and Ford Everest models roaming, like the left-hand drive Everest from last week, along with a model Ranger Raptor with mattress camouflage.
What we haven’t seen so far are the interiors of both future models, but now CarExpert has gotten some photos of the cabins of both cars, and intriguingly revealed that both will be Ford‘s 15.5-inch infotainment touchscreen. .
This touchscreen is said to be available on larger 2023 Ford Ranger and Everest trim levels, and will be able to run the automaker’s SYNC four compatible software with Android Automobile and Apple CarPlay. Both cars will feature a 12-inch digital instrument cluster to enhance this offering.
Currently, Ford‘s 15.5-inch screen is used on several current and future models, including the 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E and Ford F-150 Lightning, and, as Ford Authority previously noted, the redesigned 2022 Ford Expedition.
And with the display of these first spy photos, the 2023 Ford Everest XLT will share a bold new front end design inspired by the F-150 Ranger with C-shaped LED signatures accentuating the headlights.
But the big news reported here is the all-new interior, which will be shared by variants of the Australian best-selling double cab 4×4 SUV and also the popular seven-seater off-road SUV.
While the car pictured here looks like a base model with a small center infotainment screen surrounded by chunky controls, higher-spec models come with a much larger color touchscreen with the SYNC4 interface.
2023 Ford Everest XLT Rumors
Below is a familiar local weather control unit, but the big changes are around the center console, where a new gear selector knob replaces the traditional transmission on the current Ranger and Everest models.
Besides, there’s an extra dial on this pre-production tech mule, which is likely an all-new drive mode selector that can move from its temporary position on this test car and back to the center console.
Also evident in these photos of the upcoming 2023 Ford Everest XLT being analyzed in Europe is the electric parking brake and a new 3-spoke multifunction steering wheel.
All said, except for the steering wheel and multimedia device, the dashboard shown here is very similar to the unit on the outgoing Everest and is expected to be replaced with a completely new design.
This will explain why it is not hidden on this technical car, unlike the modified center console, which appears to be relay, but is attached to the handle of the new rotary gear selector.
2023 Ford Everest XLT Engine
As for the engines, the Ford Everest XLT will likely feature exactly the same turbo diesels as the 2022 Ranger.

However, Ford has not yet announced when to unveil the all-new Everest. However, Blue Oval mentioned that production of the next generation of SUV and pickup truck will start in Thailand soon.
