The 2023 GMC Hummer EV truck is the latest generation of Hummer vehicles developed by General Motors that discontinued production of the H3 a few years ago. Later, GMC aired a teaser trailer during Superbowl, hinting at the return of Hummer. The GMC Hummer EV is expected to debut in late 2022 after several upgrades. Unlike previous GMC or Hummer models, the new truck is electric only and no combustion engine available.
The GMC Hummer 2023 is aimed at buyers of high-end trucks, the same people who might buy the Tesla Cybertruck or the Rivian RT1. Not only does the new Hummer have an impressive electric motor, but also has plenty of off-road equipment and technologies to attract first-time truck buyers.

2023 GMC Hummer EV
The original civilian Hummer H1 cars came from military vehicles, and while the Hummer H2 and Hummer H3 origins are less rugged, they look very macho on the outside. The GMC Hummer EV maintains the square shape of previous Hummer models and adds futuristic elements such as the light strip. From the side, the shape is similar to the old Hummer H2 SUT, but with a more usable cargo box with a sturdy trunk lid and a six-position MultiPro tailgate, the driver can also lower the power of the rear window, such as 2022 Toyota Tundra or 2022 Toyota 4Runner.
When it comes to off-road capabilities, the Extreme Off-Road package adds 18-inch wheels, Goodyear Wrangler All Territory MT 35-inch tires, a lower bumper, rock slides and a lower camera. If you need more capacity, the GMC 2023 Hummer can handle tires up to 37 inches.

When Hummer switched from Hummer H1 to Hummer H2 and Hummer H3, it became a fake luxury brand. Thankfully, GMC knows a thing or two about the luxury of its sub-brand Denali. The cabin of the GMC Hummer EV pickup truck looks worthy of wearing a Denali badge or even a Cadillac badge with premium materials. In front of the driver there is a 12-inch screen that replaces the traditional gauge, while the 13.4-inch touchscreen takes care of infotainment tasks. As we’re used to from a modern GM car, the infotainment system offers things like wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
In addition to the sliding rear window, passengers can also enjoy an outdoor experience by removing the transparent Sky panel as part of the standard Infinity roof. This board is placed in the storage room of the Hummer, where the engine will be located.
2023 GMC Hummer EV Engine
The new generation 2023 GMC Hummer EV will have a two-engine primary powertrain system that won’t arrive until 2023, and we still don’t know how much power it will generate or how far it will get. The three-engine drive system delivers an incredible 1,000 horsepower and 11,500 lb-ft of torque, making it an SUV. The system also includes a torque transmission and a CrabWalk feature that allows the truck to turn the wheels in different directions. The three-engined GMC Hummer EV can charge 350 miles and restore nearly 100 miles in 10 minutes of fast charging.
The GMC Hummer EV electric drive system offers more than just range; It’s also fast. With Watts to Freedom, the payment system makes it travel from 0 to 60 miles per hour in just three seconds. The truck also has an adaptive ride control system that can be raised five inches, allowing for excellent ground clearance and road capacity.

Price
GMC is pricing the 2023 GMC Hummer starting at $ 80,000 for the base model with two engines and $ 90,000 with Adaptive Air Ride, Extract Mode, and CrabWalk. These models are expected to arrive in Spring 2024 and 2023 respectively, with this initial MSRP far ahead of Hummer over the Tesla Cybertruck, which starts at $ 40,000 and goes up to $ 70,000 for the three-engine model. Since we haven’t seen the Cybertruck in production yet, it’s hard to compare the two as Hummer may have had a more luxurious interior.
For 2023 GMC Hummer EV Pickup Three-Engine, you’ll pay $ 100,000. GMC also offers the Edition 1 with some additional features for $ 113,000. The new GMC Hummer EV 2023 is even more attractive to us as a competitor to the upcoming Rivian R1T electric pickup truck, which is expected to start at less than $ 70,000.
