2023 Infiniti QX50 Full Review New

The mid-size 2023 Infiniti QX50 enters the new model year after a recent complete restyle and there should be no targeted upgrades for the new season. The second-generation QX50 has arrived for 2019, while the model has received a new batch of upgrades for the 2022 season. The 2022 version has added compatibility with Apple Car Play and Android Auto, as well as a new dual-screen infotainment configuration. Recent model years have also expanded the scheme of some active safety devices to the base. The next version should make some changes to the toolbox and bring some new features like additional color and wheel options.

Thanks to a recent redesign, the QX50 is more than ready to challenge some of the industry’s most iconic nameplates. The latest QX50 is roomy and comfortable, and there’s plenty of cargo space. The model is also attractive and full of modern technology and safety features. It is also quiet and comfortable to drive, and the innovative 4 cylinder turbo engine ensures low fuel consumption.

2023 Infiniti QX50 Performance

The 2023 Infiniti QX50 returns with the innovative 4WD Turbo engine, available front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive. The transmission is a continuously variable automatic transmission.

The 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine delivers 268 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque. The engine uses variable compression ratio technology to deliver better performance and efficiency.

On a productivity level, the all-wheel drive Infiniti QX50 should deliver 22 mpg city, 28 highway, or 25 mpg combined. With front-wheel drive, the model should register 26 mpg combined.

The QX50 also comes with a wire-steering chassis that the brand calls adaptive direct steering. The device available in higher versions gives a nice and natural response to the steering inputs. With this device there is no direct connection between the steering wheel and the front wheels.

The Infiniti QX50 is based on the new front-wheel drive Nissan D platform, which offers multiple benefits, including improved ride quality and performance, as well as the implementation of modern technology and safety features. The new generation version has shifted the bias design to the rear wheel and although it is similar in size to the previous version, it is more comfortable inside.

The Infiniti QX50 also gets attention with its sporty, curvy design. The front section integrates the trademark grille grille, which is flanked by angular and beautifully distinctive headlights. A sporty-style front bumper and sculpted hood add to the look, too.

Dynamic body sculpting continues the model’s side and back profile. The model has a flowing character font and a beautifully shaped tailgate. Attractive taillights and trim also contribute to the look of the model.
