2023 Nissan Patrol, Nismo Full review New

The new 2023 Nissan Patrol will be launched later this year. This SUV is very popular in the Middle East while its brother Nissan Armada is available in the United States. As far as we know, the all-new model will offer some interesting upgrades. However, Nissan won’t make any noticeable change this time around.

Therefore, the new Patrol SUV will come with a more attractive appearance. Even the cabin is getting better, but nothing changes under the hood. The new Nismo model is also readily available and looks great.

Possible Engine Improvements

In terms of performance, the all-new 2023 Nissan Patrol will continue to offer the exact same V8 petrol engine. It’s a 5.6-liter engine that produces 390 horsepower and 395 pound-feet of torque. On the other hand, many sources say that Nissan will provide more power. We don’t think the Patrol SUV needs more power. It would be better to focus on fuel efficiency and deliver better mpg. Either way, the Armada will apparently achieve a whopping 400 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque, and the Patrol will do exactly the same.

A seven-speed automatic transmission remains, which is a good idea. Additionally, the 2023 Nissan Patrol includes basic rear-wheel drive and optional all-wheel drive settings. Hybrid powertrains are just a rumor. You can also get the popular Nismo version. It is a high performance sport variant.

Facelift

The upcoming 2023 Nissan Patrol will look much better than it did in the past. This also means that the Armada SUV will make the same changes in the United States. More chrome will be added to the Patrol model, so this is a first. As you know, the 2022MY is already here with the all-new headlights and new grille. Nissan will now focus on some other exterior parts because of that.

Now Nissan will be tackling the rear of the SUV, so we can expect all-new LED taillights. This design features 18″ alloy wheels. 22-inch and 20-inch tires will again be optional. We like the Midnight Edition plan because it offers an impressive look with dark features and a sporty vibe.

2023 Nissan Patrol Interior changes

The upcoming 2023 Nissan Patrol gets some new stuff in the cabin. We think there will be some changes in technology, but that’s all we need to see. That’s not a bad thing, as the Patrol SUV will be much safer with the latest driver assistance features.

Due to the fact that it has plenty of room inside, we love this SUV. The Patrol is a huge model, so it seats 8 people. Comfort is great, especially with the optional leather seats. The Patrol gets an improved infotainment system and a 12.3-inch touch screen. However, the internal upgrades are minor.

2023 Nissan Patrol Release Date

The price of the highly anticipated 2023 Nissan Patrol will start at $46,000 or slightly higher. The price is not yet available, so this is just a guess. We expect a slight price increase and this design will reach dealers in the second half of 2022. As mentioned, you can get the Patrol model in the US, where Nissan supplies the Armada SUV.

2023 Nissan Patrol Nismo

The body-on-frame SUV known in the States as the Armada looks more aggressive than the stock model, thanks to a larger body kit and plenty of red accents inside and out. A high-performance Nissan Patrol with giant 22-inch wheels and stylish F1-style LED fog lights, surrounded by a rear diffuser and a pair of large exhaust heads.

To differentiate itself from the mainstream variants, Nissan transformed the Hot Patrol’s grille by introducing a honeycomb pattern emblazoned with NISMO badges to create a strong impression. At the heart of the 2023 Nissan Patrol Nismo is a 5.6-liter V8 engine, which produces 428 horsepower and 413 pound-feet (560 Nm) of torque.

Output makes it more powerful than the standard V8 Patrol at 28 DK, despite the same torque. A seven-speed automatic transmission ties into all that power. 2023 Nissan Patrol Nismo also modified the suspension by giving it Bilstein controls to keep it as sharp as possible.
