It appears that Toyota is planning to launch the 2023 Toyota Highlander with an expansion of the crossover range. For the 2023 model, the company is targeting the Grand Highlander, which will lie between the current Highlander and the larger Sequoia. What is Toyota‘s goal in this alternative?
2023 Toyota Highlander redesigned schedule
Toyota seems to combine all the good qualities of the Highlander and Sequoia. The new 2023 Toyota Highlander model will still feature a three-row construction and use the taller (and roomier) Sequoia. This gives the 2023 model more room and space for the rear passengers. It will definitely improve comfort and fit. A former Sequoia complained about the lack of space in the third row. But if Toyota got it all done, that wouldn’t be a problem anymore. Be prepared to welcome the largest, tallest, and broadest Highlander – with its “big” moniker.

2023 Toyota Highlander Engine and performance
The current Highlander comes with a 3.5-liter V6 engine that produces 295 hp and 263 Nm of torque. The hybrid model comes with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 243 horsepower and 175 Nm of torque. When we talk about a 2023 Toyota Highlander, there’s a good chance the engine will be more powerful than the current variant. Since we still don’t know, we can only guess. In addition, the new Grand Highlander is expected to have a higher towing capacity. The current car can tow up to £5,000, so it only makes sense if everyone expects the Grand Highlander to have higher horsepower; Let’s say about 6000 to 7000 pounds.

2023 Toyota Highlander Interior
It is believed whether the new Grand Highlander will be set as a luxury option. Is Toyota ready to choose between making a coach car or a luxury car?
