That makes sense in our opinion, because generous torque will certainly have an impact on off-road performance, even if the new turbo V6 isn’t much weaker in that aspect (479 lb-ft), while the Hybrid is much better (583 lb-ft).
Anyway, this version comes with a whole host of off-road upgrades, like TRD Pro off-road suspension, Fox shocks, high-powered fuel tank and transfer case covers, Multi-Terrain display, creep control, and a locking rear differential.
