The new 2024 Acura ADX Electric will be the manufacturer’s first all-electric SUV. While we wait for additional information, it is likely that the new ADX model will come in a petrol version. According to a source, an electric vehicle is on the horizon and the ADX model will be based on a Cadillac Lyriq or Honda Prologue.
This means that the ADX model will use many of the features of the other models, such as the chassis and batteries. Interestingly, the new platform was jointly developed by Honda and General Motors. Expect a sporty SUV with a luxurious cabin, great driving characteristics and more. It is said that sales will start later next year.
2024 Acura ADX Electric design
The 2024 Acura ADX Electric is likely to be a mid-size crossover. And while the ADX model could use the GM platform, it would be larger than the Lyriq model. The proportions will be similar to the 189-inch-long XT5. Let’s also assume that the current Acura MDX is larger than the new ADX model.
Although we don’t know anything about this model, we do know that it will have more muscle and a sharper design. While we expect a more futuristic look, it will be recognized in Acura‘s design language. Unfortunately, we have to wait for more official information from Acura.

2024 Acura ADX Electric Interior Details
The cabin of the 2024 Acura ADX Electric will also have a futuristic look. This model will undoubtedly provide maximum comfort as well as plenty of luxury. However, predicting the interior design, available screens and other factors is very difficult at the moment.
The ADX crossover will likely be a five-seater, but that’s not official yet. Acura is known for its high-quality interiors, using first-class materials and many high-tech amenities.
Range and Configurations
We don’t have many details about this new crossover at this point. The Acura ADX Electric will take place on the Global EV platform. Honda and General Motors collaborated on the development of this platform. According to some sources, GM’s Ultium battery pack and electric motors are on the way. It could happen, but we think the ADX model would benefit in a different way. This all-new SUV will borrow things from Honda‘s upcoming introduction.
For this reason, we expect a similar arrangement with a driving range of 350 miles. The mechanics will be “a Honda and Acura exclusive,” according to Honda‘s vice president. For the entry-level ADX, the manufacturer will likely offer a single drive configuration. Two-engine models will be available, of course. Finally, even the gas-powered version could go on sale, but a hybrid isn’t a possibility.

2024 Acura ADX Electric Release Date & Cost
The all-new Acura ADX Electric is said to hit the market next summer. It will be the brand’s first fully electric crossover and will cost about $50,000. This is of course an expectation so it would not be surprising if the price starts at $45,000.
