The 2024 BMW 5-Series has finally been discovered after its testing following numerous rumors about the next generation model. The camouflaged prototype looks fresh and appears to have an updated design language.
Despite the camouflage covers and covers, we were able to see some changes and improvements. In fact, we first noticed similar headlights that we saw recently in the new BMW X1. However, in the 5 Series, the highlights are slimmer and elongated, with unique LED graphics and distinctive angel eyes. Interestingly, the next generation of the BMW 5-Series will use the CLAR architecture and will be powered by a selection of light-hybrid, hybrid and fully electric powertrains.
2024 BMW 5-Series Spy Shot
The first spy photos of the 2024 BMW 5-Series are available, and the new sedan will have camouflage body hoods and covers throughout. In any case, we noticed that the next generation sedan has almost the same headlights as the new BMW X1. Interestingly, the 5-Series headlights are slimmer thanks to the unique LED graphics.
There is also the latest design language at the rear with a pair of slimmer horizontally mounted taillights. The shape and location of the taillights are similar to those of the larger flagship of the 7 Series. In addition to the four-door sedan, we also expect a more practical five-door Touring version.

First look inside
Inside, the BMW 5-Series will offer more than we thought. Some spy shots reveal a very comfortable cabin and many new technologies. Also expect a standard package with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto smartphone integration, satellite radio, navigation, Bluetooth, two USB ports, and a 10-speaker/205W audio system.
The list of driver assistance functions should be longer than before. The current model includes collision warning with automatic emergency braking, active blind spot monitoring and lane departure warning.

Engine Options

Based on the information available, the next generation 2024 BMW 5-Series will be available to choose from with a selection of light hybrid and all-electric powertrains. We don’t know yet if the manufacturer plans to keep the others.
