The infotainment system and all the important information can be found above the elegant steering wheel. Like Audi with its virtual cockpit, the new BMW uses the kind of transparent display that looks great. We can’t wait to see this model in its final stage.
Moreover, there is more standard equipment than the regular model. From what we’ve heard, the new M will have a 360-degree camera system that provides a panoramic view of the vehicle’s surroundings and a pre-collision system. Expect plenty of new driver aids in this model, too.

2024 BMW i8 M Under the Hood
Like the regular i8, the M model will use the same plug-in hybrid system. This means that the M version is powered by a front-wheel-mounted electric motor and a 1.5-liter three-cylinder turbocharged engine with an electric motor for the rear wheels. According to the company, this system will provide a total combined power of 591 horsepower.
Moreover, compared to the current regular model, this is a huge improvement. The current i8 powered by the same engine can develop a power of 369 horsepower. Overall, this powerful combination sets the i8 M ready to compete with competitors such as the Acura NSX, Lexus LC500h and Polestar 1.

2024 BMW i8 M Release date and price
The new 2024 BMW i8 M is sure to rock all markets around the world with its release. With its attractive design and powerful engine, the upcoming i8 M will compete with many cars in the same class. According to the manufacturer, this model will be available in configurations such as the Coupé and Roadster.
The release date for both models is expected sometime in 2023 as a 2024 model. Pricing will also be revealed and the Coupe version will cost around $160,000 while the Roadster will start at $180,000.
