The exterior, interior and optional features of the 2024 BMW X3 have been updated as part of the mid-cycle or life-cycle (LCI) update. 2024 BMW X3 Design
This mid-term renovation of the 2024 BMW X3 is a tribute to its design predecessors. If you look closely, you’ll notice a significant change from the car’s previous aggressive body language. As a result, the grille is now slightly larger than it was in the previous year’s model. When it comes to LED daytime running lights, they look a lot like the recently unveiled BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe. In general, the front end now has a more aggressive and striking appearance.

If you take a step back, you’ll notice that the 19-inch alloy wheels have also undergone a facelift. The X3’s 8-inch ground clearance hasn’t changed due to its larger wheels. However, it is much larger in size, weighing in at around 140 pounds. While the overall dimensions remain the same, the silhouette is sharper and more dominant than ever. LED taillights at the rear of the vehicle continue to add to the vehicle’s impressive presence on the road.
The Volvo XC60 has the best ground clearance, which allows it to easily cope with bumps on the road, while the Audi Q5 is the most compact car in its class. Despite its bulky appearance, the Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class is surprisingly light on the leg. This allows for agile acceleration to be achieved.

2024 BMW X3 engine
The eight-speed automatic transmission in the 2024 BMW X3 maintains 248 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque from the 2.0-liter inline-4 turbocharger. There is a standard rear-wheel drive system that transfers power from the engine to the wheels. Those who want all-wheel drive (AWD) will have to pay over an additional $2,000 to get it. The X3 can tow up to 4,400 pounds at its maximum capacity, which is plenty for towing trailers, ATVs and boats.
In terms of ride and control, the X3 never fails to impress, and LCI doesn’t change that direction. Stability and body movement control during tight turns are well controlled. At higher speeds, steering is accurate, but the feedback could be better. Thanks to the multi-link rear suspension, the standard suspension excels in a comfortable ride.
