The X5 from Beemer has long been known as a luxury SUV, and the new 2024 BMW X5 will come with even more improvements. Reliable sources reported that the new SUV will receive a slight update on the outside, but the biggest changes will occur in the cabin. Thanks to the iDrive 8, the X5 not only gains a new face, but also expects many more technical additions to the SUV.
2024 BMW X5 New Journey
Last year, Beemer revealed their next (new) 2024 BMW X5 plan, but they only want to produce it for the Chinese market. There is a reason for this: the new coupe will be of the long-wheelbase type, which is very popular in the Chinese car market, but not so much in other markets. Since its unveiling, many people have wondered if there will be a new 2024 BMW X5 for other markets as well.
It’s a good thing that there is a new 2024 BMW X5 type coming to other markets. There are spyshot images that saw the X5 M (high performance) during the cold weather testing phase. From there, many car enthusiasts know there will be a regular X5 prototype soon enough that development testing is underway. Here’s what happens: a regular BMW X5 has been spotted in the development stage. It is also good that the car has many expected changes.
2024 BMW X5 Updated changes
From the spyshots, the 2024 BMW X5 is likely to get some updates. It’s actually the same updated (design) language that happened with X3 and also with X4. Expect the square-bottom side sockets to disappear. Instead they will be replaced and improved by vertical entries. Because of these changes, the central network will also be updated and redesigned. It will have a sharper look. It is narrower, with raised corners at each end.
What about the headlights? Will they also get some redesigned work? The headlights will change dramatically with a more elegant design. It’s actually inspired by the look of the 4 Series – as well as the design itself. As for the general file, it looks like there will be no obvious change. However, the entire profile shows that the prototype is a hybrid type. The evidence is clear: you should be able to see the charging port (on driver’s license plates, with the E exit).
At the design end, there are most likely the redesigned graphics for the car’s taillights. The remaining rear seems to be unchanged, so it’s safe to assume it will be the same (designed as a previous model relay holder).
2024 BMW X5 Interior
Changes from the outside may not be very obvious because they are very small and not significant. However, the most obvious changes will occur on the inside. If you look inside, you know for sure that this is the updated model. Starting with the 2024 BMW X5 model, the car will receive the advanced iDrive 8 infotainment system, equipped with updated graphics and dual screens.
If all goes according to plan, this system will be installed in every new BMW model of next production. It is very likely that the new 2024 BMW X5 will get the same iDrive technology, but it is unclear when. Once Beemer is sure of the entire arrangement, they will likely reveal it.
2024 BMW X5 Price and release date
The source states that production will start next year, i.e. it will start in April 2023. If so, it has been confirmed that the upcoming X5 will come as a 2024 model. The information and price for the 2024 BMW X5 have not been provided, so let’s wait for more information.

2024 BMW X5M
Only a few huge three-row SUVs can combine practicality and luxury, and among them are the Mercedes-Benz GLS and Cadillac Escalade. The two cars are compared to the BMW X5M. On the other hand, the X5M was designed by BMW to be both practical and fun to drive, and the 2024 BMW X5M‘s 523-hp engine and M Sport package make it nimble despite its size.
It can also go off-road and tow 7,500 pounds if needed, making it a very versatile vehicle. A third row of seating is available with the latest comfort and safety features for those of you who find that insufficient. If you want one of these beauties, you need a lot of money. The price of the BMW X5M is more than six figures.
2024 BMW X5M Design
A full-size SUV with a prominent dual front grille surrounded by stylish LED headlights. Naturally, the massive and expensive car would have LED fog lights and 21-inch wheels. The 22-inch screen is still an option, even if you don’t need it.
The 2024 BMW X5M has metal strips between the wheel arches and the rear reflectors. The small brake tape extends over the back of the tailgate and door and locks it in place. On the outside, the shiny aluminum trim has been swapped out for the new Shadowline trim, while the chrome exhaust tips have been swapped out for the Cerium Gray versions. There are also additional pneumatic components.

2024 BMW X5M interior
There is no denying that the 2024 BMW X5M Cab M is one of the most luxurious cars in the world. As would be expected of German craftsmanship, the final product demonstrates the high level of skill and attention to detail with which it has been crafted. The price is justified by the variety of standard functions and individual options.
Thanks to the sliding panoramic roof, both the interior and exterior of 2024 BMW X5M are well-lit as standard. Only third-row passengers will feel discomfort inside the car. Given the size of a BMW, three rows of seats is no surprise. When it comes to off-road capability, this machine is not in the pick. Anyone can fit the first two rows, regardless of their size.
2024 BMW X5M engine
In 2021, BMW installed a 48-volt mild-hybrid system on the 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine from the xDrive40i. This engine produces 335 horsepower and 331 pound-feet of torque when paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission. The car is equipped as standard with all-wheel drive called xDrive. Despite the M50i’s lack of power, this full-size sports car still had enough zip to get around town. Improvements are always possible, as the M50i explains. Despite the increased power and torque of the 4.4-liter V8 turbocharged engine, the gearbox and drivetrain remain the same.
2024 BMW X5M release date and price
In terms of luxury cars, the price of the 2024 BMW X5M is astronomical. For the xDrive40i, the starting price is $74,900, but that price is expected to go up significantly given BMW‘s habit of charging extra for just about everything. To put it in perspective, the MSRP for the M50i is just under $100,000. This price does not include taxes, registration and licensing fees.
