2024 BMW X7. The world is preparing to see the first full-size SUV from BMW and the expectations are very high. Although many markets expect the new flagship crossover in a few months, the public is already talking about the BMW X7 model, which is about to present some interesting novelties, already for the second year of production.
Looks like we’ll see its high-performance version, under the famous “M” badge. On this occasion, we should see a lot of modifications such as a new engine, improved mechanics, new aesthetics and much more.
2024 BMW X7 Engine
Of course, the most interesting thing next year is the 2024 BMW X7 engine for the new Performance Edition. Expect to see a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8, tuned for around 600 horsepower. The rest of the engine settings remain the same. Expect a familiar 3.0-liter six-cylinder with 326 horsepower, while a small 2.0-liter unit with the electric motor also seems possible. This system should provide the same amount of power. It is based on a 4.4-liter V8 engine in its standard configuration with 445 horsepower.
When it comes to diesel engines, count on the popular 3.0-liter engine, in 320 or 400 hp versions.

2024 BMW X7 Design
As for the basic design features, it seems clear that the 2024 BMW X7 will continue to ride on the well-known CLAR platform, the same platform that blocks the X5, which has just been extended for the occasion. Count on 122 inches in the wheelbase, which definitely makes this car a full-size SUV. In terms of design, the new model takes a lot of inspiration from last year’s concept called X7 Performance. The upcoming M version comes with additional upgrades. As usual for all M-badged models, expect several mechanical upgrades such as new suspension, brakes, additional chassis reinforcement, etc.
The upcoming model will also have many visual details that will emphasize its sporty character. Of course, the sport suspension will bring the car closer to the ground, but we’ll also see a lot more bodywork, things like new fenders, new wheels, etc.
2024 BMW X7 interior
While the interior design of the base versions of the BMW X7 is about to remain unchanged, we should see several upgrades from the new high-performance version. Our trusted source indicates that the cab will be all black. Count on plenty of carbon fiber around the cab, as well as additional leather surfaces in Alcantara. The overall design of the dashboard should remain unchanged, although a little can be customized.
This refers to slightly reorganized controls, as well as to slightly different screens. On the other hand, the technical functions should remain the same as in the standard forms. This means we can count on a large 12.3-inch touch screen, 12.3-inch dashboard, wireless charging, premium audio, and the like. On the other hand, all rear-seat entertainment and comfort systems such as screens, DVD player, headphone jacks and the like will be optional.
How many seats will the X7 have?
The BMW X7 retains the three-row layout and the optional second-row captain’s seats. The new model will also be practical. Count on 48.6 cubic feet of cargo space behind the seats and 90 cubic feet of total capacity. That’s much more compared to its closest competitor, the Mercedes-Benz GLS, and almost on par with the leader in its class, the Cadillac Escalade.
