One can speculate that the restyled 2024 Buick Encore will be the last model built. By 2024, many reports claim that the Toyota compact crossover will be withdrawn in North America. For those of you who don’t know yet, the current generation Encore debuted on the North American market in 2013. The Chevrolet Trax is a close cousin of this car. A decade later, the manufacturer decided to give Encore another chance to increase its sales. If we are to believe it, the upcoming model will get a new look and feel, improved interior comfort and plenty of standard equipment. In addition, the Encore GX, a somewhat larger model, is available from the manufacturer.
2024 Buick Encore redesign
An exciting new model will appear on the exterior of the 2024 Buick Encore. This 14-meter compact crossover is smaller than most of its competitors and has a lower center of gravity. Unsuitable parking spaces for large vehicles can be easily hijacked. The manufacturer plans to make several changes for 2024, most notably at the front. The new grille and LED headlights are expected from Buick, according to what we’ve heard. It is also possible to make some changes to the rear part, but the probability of their occurrence is noticeably lower than the front ones. The Encore GX, just a few inches longer than the regular model, gets the same treatment.
As mentioned, the 2024 Buick Encore will not undergo a major restyling. Simply put, this will be the third year of production, which is too early to make significant changes. The best we could hope for are more color options, but we don’t expect to see many of them.
The general appearance and appearance remains unchanged. This means you can expect the same look and feel, depending on the brand’s latest design language. Mechanically, this model runs on the company’s latest VSS platform. Another compact crossover intended primarily for the Chinese market, the Chevy Trailblazer, is also the subject of this. If you are looking for a compact crossover with a wheelbase of about 104 inches, this model is a good choice. So it’s no surprise that the interior of this crossover is a bit exaggerated.

2024 Buick Encore interior design
Luxurious interiors with sustainable materials are a well-known hallmark of the Buick brand. Therefore, expect the 2024 Buick Encore to be equipped with a luxurious interior. In general, even the interior of the current model is first-class, with comfortable seating where it is nice to stay. The spacious interior of the car does not affect the shoulder room and the legroom in the rear is the same as before.
For the most part, the 60/40 rear seats can be split and folded, providing 18.8 cubic feet of cargo space. Volume increases to 48.4 cubic feet when items are folded. This model comes standard with single-zone air conditioning, fabric/simulated leather upholstery, and a six-way power driver’s seat. A 7-inch touchscreen and Apple CarPlay / Android Auto smartphone connectivity are included in the dashboard display.
2024 Buick Encore engine
The engine division is also expected to undergo some changes, according to available information. The new 2024 Buick Encore is rumored to have a new 1.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine instead of last year’s 138-horsepower engine. And as far as we can tell, this engine is rated at around 155 horsepower. 177 lb-ft. of maximum torque is also an improvement. As before, the engine provides power to the front wheels via a six-speed automatic gearbox. However, an all-wheel drive (AWD) option is also available.
Nothing changes under the hood. So if you are looking for a three-cylinder turbo petrol engine, you have two alternatives. For starters, there is a 1.2-liter engine with 137 horsepower, which can be found on the base models. However, the 1.3-liter engine is capable of generating 155 horsepower. Of course, the optional more powerful and smoother motor is the better choice.
