The upcoming 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV has been teased, and we have to admit, it looks really attractive. It shares many cues with the best-selling SUV, the Chevy Blazer. In general, it has the same lines and a more similar front end. However, unlike the Blazer model, the Equinox EV will use a new Ultium platform that is also used in the Cadillac Lyriq.
Interestingly, the interior of the upcoming Equinox will be completely new, and in some introductory videos, the manufacturer showed a floating center console with ample space under it. Last year, the company said the Chevrolet Equinox EV will be unveiled in early fall 2022 before entering production in 2023.
Design
Although it has an Equinox nameplate, the 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV shares the same body language as the Blazer SUV. In general, this is a good move by the manufacturer as it will attract more buyers. It also rides on a new Ultium platform, which is also used on the Cadillac Lyriq model.
The Equinox EV’s exterior design is attractive and combines many futuristic details. Unlike the previous Equinox, the upcoming EV model has an attractive headlight that extends all the way under the hood and a more prominent grille.

2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV Interior look
Few details are available about the interior of the 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV. In general, the manufacturer recently released an interesting video that shows the interior of the upcoming SUV. So we see the same digital dashboard that’s similar to the one on the Silverado EV. However, the design themes are new and reflect the Equinox hatchback Bolt EV and the recently introduced Crossbolt EUV.
We also saw the new floating center console with plenty of space underneath. The passenger compartment in the front resembles the current Equinox. Unfortunately, we have to wait a little longer to find out more details about the new SUV.

As mentioned, unlike the Blazer model, the new 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV will use a new Ultium platform. It should also come with the same electric motor setup as the Cadillac Lyriq. The said model uses a permanent magnet electric motor and back-wheel drive.
Cadillac claims that this setup allows the new Lyriq to produce 340 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque. Maximum range is about 300 miles. We also expect an RS variant that can use a dual setup and produce 500 horsepower with standard all-wheel drive.

2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV price, release date
Chevrolet recently revealed that the new Equinox will be available in LT and RS grades. Either way, Chevy could expand the lineup by adding some top-tier Premier gear closer to the sale date. Pricing isn’t official, but we expect it to start around $30,000 for the standard equipment model.
However, an RS model may cost more than $10,000. The Chevrolet Equinox EV is an all-electric SUV that will be added to Chevrolet‘s lineup in fall 2023 as the 2024 model.
