The exterior design of the upcoming 2024 Hyundai Santa Cruz will get a minor facelift in preparation for its launch. The first images are available showing a number of functional and visually appealing tweaks. Once again, it looks like the 2024 Santa Cruz pickup will take a page or two out of the Hyundai Tucson crossover’s playbook. The Santa Cruz model is sure to take the shape of the straight car, which shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone. It will compete with cars like the Ford Maverick, which is also a compact pickup.
However, Santa Cruz has a more expensive price point and doesn’t offer a hybrid powertrain as an alternative option. There is a possibility that this could change in the not too distant future, but Hyundai Santa Cruz the year 2024 will not see any form of electrification.
The first photos of the 2024 Hyundai Santa Cruz are available, as we said earlier in the article. Some nice tweaks have been made to the rear, and new discreet graphics indicate the front will remain nearly the same. The latest Hyundai Santa Cruz, very similar to the Tucson, has a slightly larger front fascia than before.
When Will The Hyundai Santa Cruz Be Available 2024
The headlights appear to be lower than before, although the split headlights are still clearly visible. While we expect some additional changes to be made, the overall look of the design is much more attractive than it was in the previous iteration. Given the fact that this will only be the truck’s second model year, the redesign will be some time away.
Interior changes
The next year 2024 Hyundai Santa Cruz model, will have a more upright cabin than the current model and will be as sophisticated as the ones in production now. The Santa Cruz cabin will have a decent amount of space and will seat a total of five people. The all-new screen, which has a traditional size of 10.25 inches, looks very bright.
On the other hand, on the inside of the building, we have not yet seen any noticeable upgrades. We expect there won’t be any major changes, just some very minor improvements. In 2024, Hyundai will again offer a 2.5-liter engine as an option for the Santa Cruz. This four-cylinder petrol engine produces a total of 190 horsepower and 181 pound-feet of torque. Additionally, another engine option is available, a 2.5-liter turbo-four that makes 281 horsepower and 311 pound-feet of torque. This engine comes as a replacement. It comes with an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.
On the other hand, unlike its main competitor, the Ford Maverick, Santa Cruz doesn’t come standard with a hybrid powertrain. 2024 Santa Cruz N, on the other hand, will debut sometime in the not too distant future. This high-performance variant will offer more power, an unmistakable sportier look and a more comfortable interior than the standard model.
There’s a good chance Hyundai won’t make any pricing adjustments until it debuts. When it finally hits the market, a brand-new truck will have a base price of $25,000 to $26,000.
In the summer of 2023, this model could debut, but we should get more information about this car in a few months.
