The new 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee EV is coming, as are the electric Renegade and Compass models. According to the latest news, the flagship SUV of the future will run on batteries. In addition, the design language will be new, resulting in a more attractive appearance.
We also expect a redesigned interior, packed with more premium materials and better technology than the non-electric models. From some unofficial news, the upcoming SUV will use a 200 kWh battery. This will allow me to drive up to 300+ miles. It should support fast charging which can achieve 100 miles in less than 10 minutes charging.
2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee EV Exterior
The design of the new 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee EV will be very different from the non-electric model. The upcoming SUV will likely introduce a new design language. Sleek design and better aerodynamics are a must. We’re also expecting to see the new, closed-back grille and prettier wheels. The headlights also need repair, giving this SUV a more premium look. The manufacturer will likely use the latest LED technology or even Matrix lighting for better visibility.
2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee EV Interior
The 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee EV is a two-row seater that can have a very spacious cabin because it will ride on a new platform. In case you didn’t know by now, this model has one of the most beautiful interiors in its class. The design is modern and the materials are luxurious, especially if you want the top finish. Even the base model has so far been equipped with a leather seat.
However, we expect the EV model to get everything the higher-end versions have to offer. That means even more luxuries, including massage seats, 4-zone climate control and a high-quality 19-speaker McIntosh audio system.
At this point, we don’t know anything about the electrical system of the Jeep Grand Cherokee EV. We can safely assume that the new SUV will use a 200 kWh battery. That means it can deliver upwards of 300 miles, possibly 400. Fast charging is a must, allowing the Cherokee to cover about 100 miles in less than a 10-minute charge. There will also be a hybrid powertrain, which could use the well-known 2.0-liter in-line four-cylinder engine in tandem with a battery-powered electric motor.

Price and Release date
Unfortunately, the manufacturer has not released any official information about the Jeep Grand Cherokee EV. In any case, as far as we know, it will be an all-electric SUV using the new platform. The design language will be different from the previous model, with a new grille, a new pair of headlights and more.
We expect the new Jeep Grand Cherokee to be significantly more expensive than the outgoing version, which cost $39,400. Based on a lot of speculation, the price could be around $50,000 for the basic version. Of course, different finishes will significantly increase this price. The release date of the electric model is likely to be in the second half of 2023.
