The iconic 2024 Jeep Wrangler EV will usher in the electric vehicle era, sharing its chassis and rugged interior capabilities with the Magneto Concept. The new Jeep Wrangler EV is said to hit the market sometime next year, most likely in the fall. Anyway, we expect the Wrangler EV to look a lot like the current Wrangler.
In case you didn’t know, Jeep actually sells a hybrid version of the Wrangler called the 4xe. So the only thing missing from the lineup is an all-electric version, which isn’t far from production. Without further ado, let’s see what the new Jeep will bring to its electric SUV.
2024 Jeep Wrangler EV Design
The 2024 Jeep Wrangler EV looks modern and unique. Overall, we expect this SUV to retain the same styling as the Magneto Concept. This SUV looks instantly recognizable thanks to the traditional seven-slip grille and round headlights. In short, depending on the trim level, the design of the SUV will differ slightly.
The Magneto is the most expensive model, with 20-inch wheels and all-terrain tires. Thanks to that, compared to others in the Jeep lineup, this model offers the best climbing over rocks and crevices on the road.

2024 Jeep Wrangler EV interior
The new 2024 Jeep Wrangler EV is on its way, and is supposed to offer a more comfortable cabin compared to the regular model. However, it remains unclear whether the Wrangler EV will be available in two-door or four-door body styles. Either way, we expect it to offer the same basic interior space and dashboard design as we’ve seen on the current Wrangler.
We are sure it will retain the same removable doors and roof for an outdoor driving experience. The manufacturer will likely separate this model from the rest by adding more high-quality materials and possibly much better technology.
Will there be an all-electric
As mentioned, the new Jeep Wrangler EV will likely use the same setup as the Magneto Concept. This unique model uses a 285-horsepower electric motor with a six-speed manual gearbox. The total amount of combined power should be 625 horsepower. This model also has four chassis-mounted batteries.
Overall, we think something like this could make its way to the 2024 Jeep Wrangler EV. Jeep already sells a plug-in hybrid called the 4xe, which delivers 375 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque. It can also travel about 50 miles in all-electric mode on a single charge.
2024 Jeep Wrangler EV price, release date
According to the latest report, the new Jeep Wrangler EV will be available in a few different trims. The Sports One starts at $50,000, Freedom at $55,000, Desert around $60,000, Rubicon at $65,000, while Magneto is around $70,000.
Jeep hasn’t said anything about pricing for the new Wrangler EV, but we’re expecting a starting price of around $50,000, or even higher. Unfortunately, we do not know the exact date of the relaunch of the new electric model, but several reports indicate that it will arrive before the fall of 2023.
