The all-new 2024 Range Rover EV will be officially launched next year. As far as we know, the upcoming SUV will use an all-new electric powertrain and an all-new chassis. We were also informed that the EV model will be based on the long wheelbase variant, which should allow for three rows of seating. In addition to the more attractive design, the Land Rover Range Rover EV offers a very comfortable cabin with enough space for up to seven passengers.
Unfortunately, Land Rover hasn’t released many details about the all-electric Range Rover yet, but we can expect it to come with a new multi-link suspension, giving some extra room for the battery and rear-wheel steering.
2024 Land Rover Range Rover EV Design
According to several reports, the 2024 Land Rover Range Rover EV will run on a new modular longitudinal architecture platform, the same that will be used in the next generation Range Rover Sport. However, in terms of design, we don’t expect the new EV to differ much from the PHEV model.
The outward appearance should remain excellent and sturdy. Its clear lines and sharp light illumination give this SUV a luxurious look, as does the unique “floating roof” design. Expect a unique closed grille and attractive 23-inch alloy wheels, which are available as an option so far. In terms of size, the EV should be smaller than the Lincoln Navigator and Cadillac Escalade.

So expect a very large entertainment system and many new gadgets. The current Range Rover comes with the latest Pivi Pro system with a 13.1-inch screen. It also supports Amazon Alexa, wireless Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and Meridian premium audio.
2024 Land Rover Range Rover EV Engine Configuration
Reportedly, the fifth generation SUV will run on a new modular longitudinal architecture platform, which is designed to carry large batteries. As far as we know, the same platform will also be available in the next generation Range Rover Sport. So customers can expect at least one electric motor on each axle. Thanks to that, the Land Rover Range Rover EV should offer a range of about 300 miles and a power output of at least 600 horsepower.
In case you didn’t know, the current Range Rover is powered by a new 3.0-liter inline-6 engine with a 38.2 kWh battery pack and an electric motor that produces 434 horsepower. Land Rover claims to have a range of about 62 miles on the EV model.
