Find out about the release date, price and specifications of the 2024 Lotus Eletre EV. Lotus built its brand with two-seater supercars, but it’s now making a radical breakthrough. The automaker recently introduced the 2024 Lotus Eletre, a powerful electric SUV.
2024 Lotus Eletre EV specs: performance, acceleration, range and battery
So far, the only details Lotus has released about the powertrain in the 2024 Lotus Eletre EV is that it will have all-wheel drive and that the base model will have a performance capability of 600 horsepower. This probably means that the Eletre has two electric motors, one in the front and one in the rear.
Other versions of 2024 Lotus Eletre EV will likely have much more power. Lotus also claims that at least one version of the Eletre has an acceleration time from 0 to 100 km/h under three seconds.
2024 Lotus Eletre EV has a battery with a capacity of approximately 100.0 kWh. Lotus claims the electric SUV has an estimated driving range of 373 miles on the European WLTP cycle. The US EPA rating for Eletre will be lower. MPGe fuel economy estimates for the Eletre are not yet available.

2024 Lotus Eletre EV Exterior Design and Features
While the 2024 Lotus Eletre EV looks promising in terms of performance, its dramatic design is perhaps the most striking. With its sculpted shape, the Eletre looks like a futuristic concept car, but the images you see here are of the production version.
Notable exterior features for the Eletre include a locking grille, a three-position rear spoiler, and either 22-inch or 23-inch wheels. Additionally, the 2024 Lotus Eletre EV has futuristic exterior features, including “lidar sensors that pop out from the body and ultimately allow for high-level autonomous operation.” The Eletre also has a full-width light bar on the tailgate with the ability to change to green, blue, red and orange.
In addition, the electric SUV will offer a “camera-based side mirror system, which will be [available] in areas where this is permitted.” However, in the United States, “traditional door mirrors will be standard.”
2024 Lotus Eletre EV Interior Design and Features
The cabin makes the 2024 Lotus Eletre EV more different from previous Lotus models. While many Lotus supercars feature an exposed interior with a greater emphasis on performance, the Eletre places more emphasis on comfort, luxury and ambiance.
Notable interior features displayed on the Eletre include automatic bronze switches, a full-length panoramic glass roof, a central 15.1-inch OLED touchscreen, a head-up display and an audio system featuring 15 or 23 speakers. For seat configurations, Eletre offers “four seats with two separate trunks in the rear or five seats with a three-seater rear bench”.
2024 Lotus Eletre EV Release date
The release date for the 2024 Lotus Eletre EV will be on sale at Lotus dealers in the United States and in select international markets, including China. Stay tuned for pre-order/reservation information. Lotus, owned by the Chinese multinational Geely, will build Eletre in Wuhan, China. A significant portion of Eletre sales will likely come from car buyers in China.

2024 Lotus Eletre EV Price
Lotus has yet to release information on pricing and equipment/configurations for the 2024 Eletre. However, Car and Driver estimates that the price of the 2024 Lotus Eletre EV will be around $120,000. For more powerful versions of Eletre, the price will be higher.
