Moreover, the interior is also modern, although it is the highest level of equipment that exudes a certain luxury.
Either way, it’s a solid crossover with room for improvement. The engine should be more powerful and efficient, which is not the case. The exterior design of the 2024 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross is very modern and competitive. In general, this model has not changed much over the years. Eclipse Cross gets visual upgrades year after year. The same goes for the 2024MY, although a redesign hasn’t been planned yet. Earlier, the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross came with an updated front end, including new headlights and new fog lights.
Even the rear part changed when Mitsubishi made nice updates. Now, the next model will see subtle cosmetic changes, including new exterior colors, revised bumpers and sharper side stripes. We hope to see new optional wheels and some additional refreshments.
2024 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross Interior changes
The interior of the 2024 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross meets your expectations. At the lower levels there are cheap materials. So, if you are willing to pay more, some competitors are the better option. The chairs are upholstered in an elegant durable fabric. The pillow was more than adequate and the comfort was generally acceptable. Remember, the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross is far from a luxury crossover.
A touchscreen infotainment system is standard on all Eclipse Cross design trim levels. Base models offer a 7-inch screen as standard. However, higher trim levels are available with the 8-inch touchscreen display, which provides access to the dashboard navigation system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Under the hood, the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross will continue to offer the same 1.5-liter engine. It is a four-turbo petrol engine with 155 horsepower. This powertrain option comes with a reliable CVT automatic transmission. A major upgrade occurred recently when Mitsubishi finally decided to offer AWD across its lineup. Engine improvements are unlikely at this point, although there is always a possibility.

The Eclipse Cross sprints from 0 to 60 mph in 8.6 seconds. Despite having a smaller offset, this crossover gets 25 miles per gallon in the city and 28 miles per gallon on the highway. This is far from impressive, as you can find more efficient crossovers in this segment. On the other hand, ride quality is good and the Eclipse Cross is a surprisingly quiet model.

The upcoming 2024 Eclipse Cross will cost about $26,500 per source. The price is reasonable, but we’d love to see more of this model in the coming years. Mitsubishi will release new version later in 2023 so stay tune.
