2024 Nissan Armada Full Review New

The company’s flagship SUV will be significantly updated this year. We’re about to see a lot of changes for 2021, and almost all of them will be based on the recently updated Patrol, one of Nissan‘s most popular panels and the same car as the Armada, sold overseas. This update will keep the current generation fresh and competitive for a few more years, and if we take the usual length of Nissan‘s production cycle, it’s likely that the next generation will come in three years, most likely like the 2024 Nissan Armada. We’ve already heard some details about the new versions, but from Clearly, it’s too early to get into anything more specific.

2024 Nissan Armada Redesign

Looking at the upcoming improved model, it shows us the direction of Nissan‘s design philosophy and certainly hints at some aspects of the next generation model. You see, there’s a whole new face, with futuristic LED headlights and new bumpers with massive air intakes. We assume that the next generation will continue to evolve the new design language and it’s hard to expect a drastic change, especially when we consider that this model shares pretty much everything with the internationally offered Patrol, one of the brand’s most legendary. Nameplates, a model that has always received special treatment from the company’s engineers.

When it comes to mechanics, 2024 Nissan Armada looks like the Japanese company isn’t going to give up on the good old F-Alpha platform. If you look at how the current model is traded, there is no good reason for such a move. This architecture simply strikes a good balance between performance and efficiency, while providing superior handling and an overall driving experience compared to other full-size SUVs. The only potential drawback relates to electricity, as it would be very difficult to adapt this build to a heavier hybrid setup.

When it comes to interior design, we assume that the overall design will not be significantly different. We, of course, rely on three rows of seats and don’t expect the wheelbase to extend much and to have much more legroom. We’re sure the company will be inclined to keep this model off-road compatible. Of course, the 2024 Nissan Armada will come with a completely new dashboard and interior design. More luxury, technical gadgets and many new functions are what we can expect from the new model.

2024 Nissan Armada Engine

When it comes to powertrain offerings, the current model comes with a familiar 5.6-liter V8, which makes around 400 horsepower and offers some good driving dynamics. However, they are not particularly effective and we have no doubt that emissions standards will be much higher in the coming years. That’s why we’re sure the 2024 Nissan Armada will come with something smaller and more efficient. Some of the things that come to mind are a V6 turbo, while a mild hybrid drive seems possible as well. It’s still early days for details, so we won’t go into more detail.

The 2024 Nissan Armada will arrive sometime in 2023. When it comes to price, the current model is around $48,000 and we don’t really expect big changes with this redesign, although inflation will definitely affect the price tag, so it looks like a few thousand Other is for sure. Another thing to note is that some sources indicate that the next generation Mitsubishi Pajero is in the works as well and will share most parts with this next generation Armada.
