A 2024 Ram Dakota has been confirmed, with the Ram moving as scheduled. The upcoming Dakota is said to be a mid-size pickup truck running on a 3.6-liter V6 Pentastar unit. This is the same power as the Ram 1500. If you take cues from the 1500, you can expect the Dakota to look good looking and bold. Not to mention, you can also expect a better, more upgraded interior for the upcoming Dakota.
2024 Ram Dakota Next Manufacturing Plan
The midsize pickup truck segment is quite competitive, but Ram doesn’t seem to be bothered by that. They even resurrect the nameplate Dakota, who gave birth to two generations from 1997 to 2011. However, Ram is no idiot. They understand that this sector is tough and competitive, so they seek inspiration (related to components and platforms) from Jeep, their sister company. Jeep produced the Jeep Gladiator, which is a pickup truck version of the Wrangler.
