The 2024 Rolls-Royce Spectre has finally been unveiled. According to our knowledge, the Phantom sedan and Cullinan SUV share the Specter’s platform. The new model, on the other hand, is fully electric and employs two electric motors to generate a total of 577 horsepower.
It cannot compete with long-range EVs such as the Tesla Model Y and the Lucid Motors Air due to the Specter’s estimated range of only 260 miles per charge. However, if their private jet was always waiting at a nearby airport, those with about $400,000 to spend on the Specter would likely avoid road trips. The Specter is the first electric vehicle produced by Rolls-Royce, which claims that by 2030, all of its gasoline-powered models will be replaced by electric vehicles.
2024 Rolls-Royce Spectre exterior design
The 2024 Rolls-Royce Spectre features the company’s most advanced technology. The aluminum-only chassis is designed to accommodate both internal combustion engines and electric motors. Although the Specter is the first Rolls-Royce to employ any form of electric propulsion, it serves as the foundation for all current models (Ghost, Phantom, and Cullinan).
Although the iconic Rolls-Royce grille with Art Deco influences dominates the front, the front fascia also features Art Deco details. The headlights are slightly retracted, and the LED daytime running light strip is completely upright and horizontal.
2024 Rolls-Royce Spectre Interior futuristic
Both rows of the interior of the 2024 Rolls-Royce Spectre feature bucket seats. This can accommodate four individuals. Even though the Specter has some unique design elements, anyone familiar with Rolls-interiors Royce’s will find it to be opulent.
For instance, the door panels of the Specter have a similar sheen, with small LED lights twinkling around the armrests and the brand’s signature starry sky. The Specter should have a variety of customization options and textures to choose from, but we do not yet have all the information or a list of features and options.
Details on dual electric powertrain
The 2024 Rolls-Royce Spectre will be equipped with a twin-motor electric motor that can generate 577 horsepower and 664 lb-ft of torque. Rolls-Royce claims that this coupe can accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 4.4 seconds. You may scoff at this estimation and point to the Tesla Model S Ply, which reaches 62 mph in 2.1 seconds, but we must remind you that Rolls-Royce is primarily designed for cruising, not impressive acceleration.
