The 2024 Tesla Model X will receive a number of updates next year. At the moment, this SUV is one of the electric cars with the largest range and the most interior space. It should be noted that this model manages to travel more than 300 miles on a single charge, thanks to the electric motors and huge battery capacity. Tesla recently said that the new five-seat, 351-mile Range model only needs minor changes to the maps.
Plus, this SUV is very roomy, and we don’t expect any major changes in that regard for 2024. It will likely retain the old model’s large touchscreen infotainment and infotainment system, which takes up most of the dashboard.
2024 Tesla Model X Future News
The first images available now suggest that the 2024 Tesla Model X‘s design lines won’t change much. This model is roughly the same size as three-row midsize luxury SUVs like the Lincoln Aviator, Acura MDX, and Audi Q7. Anyway, as we can see from the initial images of the concept, the new SUV seems to borrow some design cues from the Model S sedan, which has refined elegance and contemporary style. On the other hand, the 2024 Model X has a more streamlined shape, a lighter and more streamlined footprint, and impressive wheel design capabilities.
What distinguishes the Model X most is that it has “Falcon Wings” rear doors that open perpendicular to the car. This means that you don’t have to worry about your car doors touching the doors of the car parked next to you in the parking lot.

Overall, compared to the previous model, the recently announced model comes with a wide range of features and options to customize it. Tesla‘s infotainment system is undoubtedly a standout and you can count on being able to use Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. Both systems are compatible with Tesla.
2024 Tesla Model X engine specs, range and details
The 2024 Tesla Model X will be available in one of two different trim levels. Since the base model comes standard with two electric motors, one on the front axle and one on the rear axle, all-wheel drive is an option for the vehicle. Tesla claims its vehicles can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.8 seconds when equipped with this high-powered setting.
One possible upgrade is the high-performance version of the Plaid, which comes with three engines and a total power of 1,020 horsepower. Unlike previous versions, a Tesla Model X with this setting can go from standstill to 100 kilometers per hour in 2.1 seconds. You may have noticed that even the base model outperforms major competitors like the Jaguar I-Pace and Audi e-Tron SUVs.
