2024 Toyota LQ Full Review New

2024 Toyota LQ. A stunning luxury crossover called the 2024 Toyota LQ will go on sale the following year. In general, this vehicle will take the position of the previous Lexus LX. As a result, the LQ model will be the following important model. This crossover has a striking yet sophisticated appearance in terms of design. Other than that, the new LQ and the LS full-size luxury car are very similar. So anticipate that it will operate on a rear-wheel drive chassis and make use of the same mechanics and engine. Toyota presented the Lexus LF-1 Limitless Concept and filed the LQ trademark in the US two years ago.

2024 Toyota LQ Redesign

At first glance, the design of the all-new Toyota LQ looks similar to the RX. As you know, the RX is a mid-size luxury crossover that has a beautiful exterior. Moreover, this SUV has been touted as a flagship model for many years. Although the 2024 Toyota LQ is reminiscent of the RX, the exterior design and body of the 2024 Toyota LQ has been upgraded to the RX version 2.0. Lexus steers the same way BMW and Mercedes-Benz do. The 2024 model year will offer Lexus‘ latest technology, innovation and design sophistication. Like all current Lexus models, the spindle grille features a three-dimensional design and LED lighting around the grille.

2024 Toyota LQ Interior Rumors

Lexus is a company known for consistently producing high-quality interiors. According to some reports, the new 2024 Toyota LQ will be covered with soft-touch surfaces and high-quality materials. However, at the moment, there are no images available that we can analyze. However, from many speculations, this model will carry the same cabin as the Lexus LF-1 Limitless Concept. Thanks to that, the LQ should provide plenty of space for passengers in both rows.

We expect the LQ cabin to come with leather seats, a heated steering wheel, and heated and ventilated front seats as standard. We also expect premium options such as heated rear seats, front seat massages and a 12.3-inch center display with touchpad console that also appears on the LF-1 model. Content like Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Amazon Alexa, built-in navigation, and Wi-Fi hotspots will surely become standard.

Powertrain Specification

As mentioned, the upcoming 2024 Toyota LQ model will share its underpinnings with the LS full-size luxury sedan. There is no doubt that this all-new SUV will use almost the same mechanics and engines. The base version will use a 3.4-liter twin-turbocharged V-6 producing 416 horsepower and a 10-speed automatic transmission. The final combination could be a 3.5-liter V-6 and two electric motors that together produce 354 horsepower. This model will likely use a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT). The final engine driving the high-performance F-section is a twin-turbo V8 that produces more than 600 horsepower.

2024 Toyota LQ Release Date And Price

From various reports, the upcoming 2024 Toyota LQ will arrive next year as a 2024 model. This model looks futuristic and will be positioned above the old RX model, which means the LQ may be the next flagship SUV. Also, with its unique design, the LQ is sure to become a threat to many of today’s SUVs. In the same class are such models as the Mercedes-AMG GLS 63 and Audi RS Q8. However, the high $80,000 price tag that can easily exceed the $100,000 mark is perhaps the SUV’s only drawback.

Update

LQ is the luxury brand’s new flagship SUV. Previewed by the stunning LF-1 Limitless concept shown here, the LQ will be a slick two-row model that leans more towards the comfort side of the off-road-capable LX, and it’s here to stay and deservedly so. to be replaced immediately. To illustrate, think of an SUV that takes cues from the LS sedan.

LQ will employ a new design language for its production cars when it is unveiled early next year. A new version of the spindle grille will attract a lot of attention, as will the strong lines that run from the hood to the A-pillars and towards the rear. Hopefully, the broad proportions of the concept will carry over to the LQ, as will the relatively straight roofline, giving it a dynamic appearance.

Inside, LQ will revolve around the user experience. We expect the LF-1’s LED light display on its grille to make its way into the LQ, welcoming passengers as they prepare to board into the comfortable cabin. While a three-seat second-row seat will likely be standard, a two-seat option—as in the LS—may be available. We also expect to see Lexus‘ latest infotainment system in the flagship.

Lexus builds the LF-1 on the Toyota TNGA-L platform, which also underpins the LS and LC coupes. The LQ will be the first SUV to use this rear-wheel drive-based architecture, though we hope Lexus will offer all-wheel drive. Also, despite being wider and longer than the LS, the LQ could potentially use a shorter wheelbase if the concept’s dimensions were carried over. Finally, expect something with 8.5 inches of ground clearance.

The TNGA-L’s architecture is flexible enough to accommodate gasoline, hybrid, electric and fuel cell powertrains, though we doubt the LQ will fit them all. An educated guess says the LQ could share the LS’ 3.5-liter twin-turbo V-6, making 416 horsepower and 442 pound-feet of torque, though the hybrid option would be the efficiency winner while making around 350 horsepower. Given that the LQ is slated to be at the top, there’s also a chance we’ll see a V-8.

Price Estimate: Keep an eye out for LQs that range from $80K to $85K, with higher versions easily passing the $100K mark.

Expected sale date: Spring 2024
