The vehicle is powered by a selection of four- and six-cylinder engines and comes with rear-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic transmission. When paddled, this automatic transmission performs admirably for its class.

Toyota does not offer a convertible model in the Supra lineup but only a coupe. The slippery cab might be an issue for some drivers but it’s fun to solve. Toyota has updated its 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine to increase its current horsepower from 335 to 382. The company has also confirmed the addition of a four-cylinder version to increase its market appeal. It will be powered by a 2.0-liter engine that will produce 255 horsepower. The top variant will be equipped with a six-cylinder engine as standard and will also use a number of interior and exterior fixtures to set it apart from the rest.

Toyota planned to offer two powertrain options for the 2024 Toyota Supra range, the last of which would be a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder and the second inherited from its predecessor but with minor modifications, the 3.0-liter turbocharged six now produces 382 units. . hp (285 kW) and 368 lb-ft (499 Nm) from 335 hp (250 kW) and 365 lb-ft (495 Nm) similar to the BMW Z4 M40i.

Update

The 2024 Toyota Supra is one of the latest products produced by Toyota. The manufacturer boasts an impressively sporty design that outshines its competitors. Since the design of certain cars is the main attraction, Toyota has used a unique design for this series. The design does not neglect the aerodynamic aspects as in any sports car.

The sporty design is followed by a powerful engine configuration. The engine specification is known for its fuel economy. Few sports cars incorporate the best technology to reduce fuel consumption. This fuel efficiency is achieved through the hybrid engine used under the hood.

Detailed Specifications

Most reviewers describe the 2024 Toyota Supra’s interior as great. The sporty exterior matches racing seats with high-quality leather upholstery. Premium leather is also used to cover several other parts of the cabin, including the steering wheel. Comfort and aesthetics are two major priorities in the interior design of this sports car.

Besides a great interior, this sports car is also equipped with high-tech features. Climate control in the center console allows passengers to enjoy their journey. Meanwhile, the easy-to-use navigation system allows drivers to go anywhere they want. Like most sports cars, it only has two seats.

2024 Toyota Supra Engine

The engine configuration installed in Toyota Supra 2024 can be compared to a racing car. The powertrain uses a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. The power that this engine generates is an impressive 360 horsepower. While the torque generated is about 300 lb-ft. The combination of aerodynamic design and excellent engine configuration allows the vehicle to run smoothly at incredible speeds. It can accelerate from zero to 60 mph in 3.6 seconds. This car is equipped with an automatic transmission system for better handling. Not much can be said about the engine configuration except for superior performance.

There was a lot of speculation about the launch date of the car. Many auto experts claim that the car will be released in the fourth quarter of 2024. Although it has not been announced yet, an official statement from Toyota indicates that the car will be available in early 2017. Based on experts’ calculations, it has a $50,000 price tag. 2024 Toyota Supra News

Car enthusiasts are sure to welcome the return of the iconic Toyota Supra with some serious backlash. There have been all kinds of complaints about BMW‘s involvement, its design and engine choices. However, the criticism that always stands out is the lack of a manual transmission. However, recent rumors lead us to believe that a manual option will be available soon. Moreover, the evidence continues to get more and more convincing.

Recently, Road and Track shared some leaked photos that appear to detail the new Supra’s manual transmission. They even said it was “almost certain” to happen. According to the post, a Toyota insider hinted that a manual shipment was due. So, at this point, the possibility of seeing manual transmission deals for the 2023 Supra looks pretty good!

Toyota has not officially confirmed or denied this information. However, the leaked image shows the launch schedule. Apparently, a press release will come out on April 28, 2022, announcing the introduction of a six-speed manual transmission. Apart from that, the leak also indicates a proposed production start in July 2022, with the cars being delivered to dealers and customers in October. Again, none of this information is official. Now, all we can do is hope it’s accurate!

Other than that, the leak doesn’t seem to show any signs of a four-cylinder manual transmission being offered. This, unfortunately, means that there is no manual transmission for the 2023 Toyota Supra in the same price range as the 2023 Nissan Z. The Z is confirmed to have a manual transmission and prices start around $40,000. However, Nissan has yet to release specific details on which trim levels and models will not have a manual transmission. Needless to say, between the Supra, Nissan Z, and Acura Integra, the Japanese manufacturer has us all anxiously awaiting the details.

Besides the manual transmission version, the leak also details a special edition Supra for 2023. The 2023 Toyota Supra RZ Matte White Edition, according to the leak, will have a number of special features for this special edition. These include a combination of matte white metallic paint and an exclusive brown leather interior. In addition, it is said to have a wireless charging system, a USB charging station, and a “special purpose vehicle decoration” on the passenger side dashboard. Whatever it means!

However, this is where anxiety comes into play with these leaks. A final note on the specifications of the Matte White version is the 550,000 yen (about $4,700 USD) price increase over the standard RZ Supra, which is claimed to be equipped with a manual transmission. Additional costs for special editions are not a concern, but prices are shown in yen. This likely means that if this is a genuine Toyota system leak, it is from a Japanese employee. Therefore, if this information is verified, it does not mean that manual transmission will be an option worldwide.

It is claimed that most leaks will not eventually have a manual transmission, as with any leak, there is no way to be sure of these types of things. However, this certainly isn’t the first time the US has been sidelined from a show of a great Japanese car. Sometimes, this is the case. All the world can do now is watch and hope these leaks are true. If so, maybe it’s time for all those who claim to be buying the manual version to put their money where their mouth is!

A manual edition Toyota GR Supra was confirmed as possible prior to its launch and was reported repeatedly as being “on the way”. In January, I was able to confirm this with a source within the Toyota dealer network, who told me it was coming to the US this year. Exactly when, we may now know, too, as a Japanese auto blog allegedly leaked launch plans for Toyota‘s manual Supra, which could be revealed at the end of next month.

Confirming our findings with Toyota dealerships, Creative Trend claims the manual Supra will be a six-speed, and will only be available on the six-six model. Previous rumors indicated that the manual was originally planned to be exclusive to the four-cylinder Supra, which someone thought was a bad idea, making it optional on the inline-six – although this is the first time we’ve done it. I heard it’s exclusive to this device. To celebrate the car’s launch, the handmade Supra will be produced in a series of 50 matte white edition cars, with special interiors, exclusive paint and additional technology. Prices are shown in Japanese Yen only, indicating that this version is likely to be Japan only.

Still, pre-production or preparations are likely underway, as the source who originally told me about the car said a hand-made Supra prototype was shown to dealers in Las Vegas last year. Pricing is near final according to Creative Trends, and the information will be announced to dealers in late March ahead of the car’s supposed April 28th announcement. Production will allegedly begin in July in Austria (it will be at Magna Steyr, which makes the Supra) to provide dealers with enough cars in October when the manual Supra finally goes on sale.

That’s when we might know if the six-speed really fixes BMW‘s vastly troubled Supra, or if we should pin all our remaining hopes on the top-performance model: perhaps the 510-hp, BMW M3-engined Supra GRMN .
