2025 Chevrolet Impala Full Review New

According to Chevrolet, the popular 2025 Chevrolet Impala is currently entering its final year of production. It’s time to say goodbye to her. This car has been in production since the late 1950s, is spacious inside and out and has a solid foundation. However, some internal cost-cutting measures are reasonable given the niche niche.

Before Chevrolet entered its final year of production, Chevrolet discontinued a slew of other options and mechanics. In addition, the 2.5-liter Inline-4 will be replaced by the regular V6 on the LS model, which will be discontinued. To compete with the likes of the Dodge Charger, Chrysler 300 and Nissan Maxima, it’s going to be tough.

2025 Chevrolet Impala Redesigned
Exterior Design

The 2025 Chevrolet Impala, despite its age on the inside, looks like a very modern mid-size sedan on the outside. There is a strong resemblance to the Malibu’s design aesthetic. LED lighting and a bow-shaped front grille make this vehicle look sporty. LED taillights and dual chrome exhaust tailpipes add a sporty touch to the rear.

The car’s aerodynamics are improved by the sloping roofline. The base 18-inch alloy wheels on the Impala have been replaced with 19-inch wheels on the higher end. Compared to its competitors, it is narrower in width but with a longer overall length. The vehicle’s ground clearance and curb weight have not yet been released, although they are expected to be similar to the competition.

2025 Chevrolet Impala interior design

The interior of the 2025 Chevrolet Impala may look dated, but it’s one of the most comfortable cabins in its class. Plastic prevails in components and interior materials, which is disappointing in this segment, but not as bad as it seems. Although the dashboard is made entirely of plastic, it is well designed and has a dark color scheme with silver accents. The climate controls are located in the center below the touch-sensitive infotainment screen.

When it comes to interior space, the Impala is a standout. The head and legroom can accommodate five passengers in the front and rear rows. This ensures a smooth ride, even for long periods in the back seat. The trunk can hold up to 18.8 cubic feet of luggage, which is more than enough for a mid-size sedan. If you plan to drive interstate, you can fit one or two large pieces of luggage in the trunk.

2025 Chevrolet Impala Engine

In terms of horsepower and torque, the 2025 Chevrolet Impala is powered by a naturally aspirated 3.6L V6 engine. Power is sent to the front wheels via a six-speed automatic transmission that can be shifted manually or automatically. There is no all-wheel drive (AWD) option in this class. In addition, Chevrolet ditched the 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine for the 2025 MY, significantly increasing the base price.

Power and precision are enhanced with the new 3.6L V6 engine. Smooth acceleration without lag is possible thanks to the smoothness of the buttery gearbox. When it comes to acceleration, the Impala does a respectable job. The quarter mile of 14.8 seconds isn’t the best, but it’s better than some competitors.

Compared to Chevy and Nissan sedans, the sedans of the FCA group, that is, Dodge and Chrysler, are weak. On the other hand, the Dodge has a lot more horsepower than it looks. The CVT transmission and smaller engine explain why the Nissan Maxima is the fastest 0-60 mph car in this group.
