The next generation 2025 Chevrolet Tahoe has already been validated and we can expect to introduce the new variant next year. The full-size 3-row SUV, according to the latest spyshot, is just getting a mid-cycle refresh.
It has improvements front and rear, some interior improvements and the same three engine options as its predecessor. This means we can expect the base model with a 5.3L V8 engine, while the RST, Z71 and Premier will use a 6.2L V8. Another alternative is under the hood of the Z71 with a 3.0-liter inline-six diesel engine that is turbocharged.
2025 Chevrolet Tahoe Engine
Like the previous design, the new 2025 Chevrolet Tahoe uses a 5.3-liter V8 with 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque as the base option. You also get a more efficient 6.2-liter V8 with RST, Z71, High Country and Premier designs. This system produces 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque.
The most fuel-efficient is the 3.0-liter inline-six turbodiesel that powers the Z71. According to Chevy, this engine can make 277 horsepower and the same torque (460 lb-ft) as the larger V8. All engines use a 10-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive (RWD) as standard. All-wheel drive is optional or standard on the Z71.

2025 Chevrolet Tahoe redesigned
The 2025 Chevrolet Tahoe is a 17.5-foot-tall large SUV. It’s in the same full-size SUV class as the Ford Expedition dominates. For the 2025 design, the manufacturer will introduce some innovations, especially in the front and rear.
A black grille is now available on LS, LT, RST and Premier models, as well as the new word “Chevrolet” that changes the design of the previous logo. It’s worth noting that the lower section will be used with 18-inch alloy wheels, while the High Country designs will run on 22-inch alloy wheels.
