Lexus GX 2024 Release Date Redesign Exterior

Lexus GX 2024 Release Date. The GX, like many other body-on-frame models in the Lexus portfolio, is due for a complete redesign. Given that the current generation has been in existence since 2009, we are eagerly anticipating something fresh. It is almost certain that the 2024 Lexus GX, the next-generation model, will debut in the coming year, despite the fact that officials are remaining tight-lipped at this time. Again, it should follow in the footsteps of the Land Cruiser Prado and share the majority of its components.

The Land Cruiser Prado will also be redesigned within the next year, and the newest reports indicate that its codename will be LC 180. The GX will have several modifications, particularly in the area of mechanics, where we anticipate significant enhancements, particularly in terms of ride quality. Obviously, there will be huge cosmetic modifications, and we also anticipate considerable changes under the hood.

2024 Lexus GX Redesign

As we just said, a new generation will emerge after a very long time. Therefore, it is not surprising that expectations are high. The platform is the first thing that comes to mind, and we have no doubt that this model, along with the rest of the Toyota/Lexus BoF lineup, will adopt the new TNGA-F architecture.

The new platform should offer various advantages. First, the next-generation Lexus GX 2024 should exhibit much improved driving manners. Currently, this is one of the weakest spots. The redesigned suspension will be more tuned, and the lower center of gravity will improve handling.

Conversely, the new 2024 Lexus GX will retain all of its off-road characteristics. Moreover, the situation could only improve. We rely on features such as standard four-wheel drive, low-range gearing, locking differentials, skid plates, and hill descent control.

Lexus GX 2024 Exterior

During this lengthy production cycle, the outside of the current version has been changed a couple of times and is still quite attractive. However, the impending revamp should improve its appearance. We anticipate the application of the brand’s most recent design language, so the new LX 600 may serve as a source of inspiration. In terms of general form, we anticipate more muscles, however proportions should remain relatively unchanged.

The proportions should not fluctuate significantly, and this includes the measurements. The wheelbase should stay relatively short, approximately 110 inches, and the other dimensions, particularly the overhangs, should not vary significantly. Simply, the Japanese manufacturer will maintain the same level of off-road capability, which is uncommon for premium mid-size SUVs on the market today.

Lexus GX 2024 Interior

The Interior is one of the current generation’s worst points. The vehicle’s looks clearly belong to the previous generation of luxury automobiles, as they are dated. Nevertheless, the build quality is still remarkable, so we can only anticipate that Lexus will maintain the same standard. On the other side, we anticipate whole fresh aesthetics, possibly inspired by the full-size LX, as well as much nicer materials. In addition, we anticipate a vast array of additional technological features, perhaps even the same dual-screen configuration as its larger sibling.

As the overall dimensions would likely remain relatively same, we anticipate a similar amount of passenger room. The base models will likely include two rows of seats that are both roomy and pleasant, while the third row will be optional and not very spacious. The same holds true for the cargo area.

2024 Lexus GX Engines

This component is set to undergo considerable change. Specifically, the aging 4.6-liter V8 engine is receiving a well-deserved retirement. The replacement will be more compact, effective, and capable. The company’s new 3.4-liter turbo V6 is one of the options available. It is located beneath the hood of the new LX 600. We are referring to its base variant, which provides around 350 horsepower to base Tundra cars. The new engine would come with a new transmission, likely with eight or ten gears.

In addition to the gasoline version, we anticipate a hybrid version of the new SUV. This model could be equipped with the company’s revolutionary turbo-four engine-based system. The maximum output should also be around 350 horsepower. Contrary to most Toyota/Lexus hybrids, it will feature a conventional automatic transmission.

Lexus GX 2024 Release Date

Officials remain tight-lipped, but the new Lexus GX 2024 will likely arrive in the second half of the year. The base price of the present model is approximately $57,00, and we anticipate that the next version will be priced a bit higher.

Lexus GX 2024 Update

It appears that the current model of Lexus‘s midsize SUV has been around forever, which is not far from the reality. It was released in 2009, and we anxiously anticipate a complete overhaul. Recent indications indicate that this will eventually occur within the next year. The all-new, next-generation vehicle will arrive in 2024 as the Lexus GX, and we anticipate numerous innovations.

Given the age of the current model, the number of adjustments will undoubtedly be substantial. We will witness a completely new design based on the company’s new platform, and the ride quality will be improved. Additionally, we anticipate fresh aesthetics, interior design, and an abundance of new technological features. Another significant shift will occur within the engine. The venerable V8 engine will be replaced with a new hybrid powertrain, and the most recent reports indicate that it will be based on a turbo-four engine.

We anticipate that the 2024 Lexus GX will join the market in the second half of the year, despite the official silence.

2024 Lexus GX Redesign

Without a doubt, this revamp will introduce numerous innovations. Thus, the platform is the first thing that comes to mind. This vehicle, along with the rest of the company’s BoF portfolio, will adopt the new TNGA-F platform, which already underpins models such as the Tundra and the LX. This vehicle should share the majority of its components with the next-generation Land Cruiser Prado and 4Runner.

It will have an entirely new suspension system, which will deliver a smoother and more comfortable ride than the outgoing model. On the other hand, we have no doubt that the 2024 Lexus GX will continue to excel off-road. All versions will include four-wheel drive, center differential locking, two-speed transfer case, etc. In addition, we anticipate updates such as front and rear locking differentials, additional suspension upgrades, and new traction modes, among others.

Exterior

When discussing external design, we should first discuss the dimensions. We do not anticipate significant modifications in this regard, thus the wheelbase should be roughly 110 inches. With such a tiny distance between the axles, the new vehicle will retain excellent off-road capability, which will take precedence over passenger legroom and interior space.

Additionally, the general form should remain somewhat constant. We will observe a layout typical of SUVs, with short overhangs that allow for steep approach and departure angles. In terms of aesthetics, the new design language will be used, thus we can anticipate several front-end parallels with the new LX.

Interior

Obviously, this revamp will also result in an entirely new interior. The current model may have outstanding construction quality, but it might benefit from more contemporary appearance. Therefore, we anticipate a fully redesigned dashboard with improved aesthetics and materials. In addition, we anticipate new technological features such as a larger infotainment screen, a digital instrument cluster, and many more.

Given that the outside proportions will likely remain unchanged, we anticipate that the quantity of passenger and cargo space will be comparable to the outgoing model. Consequently, we anticipate a couple of spacious and comfortable rows of seats, however the third row will likely be rather cramped, just like the cargo area, which will have no significant space.

2024 Lexus GX Engine

One of the most intriguing components of the impending facelift will be the engine department. A hybrid powertrain will replace the 4.6-liter V8 engine. The powertrain will presumably be shared with the upcoming Lexus RX 500h, which will be powered by a turbocharged four-cylinder engine. We do not know many specifics, but the total output will be approximately 367 horsepower.

The engine will be paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission, and as previously stated, all-wheel drive will be standard. In some markets, it is also possible to find a model with a gasoline engine, in addition to the hybrid variant. This one would likely be equipped with the company’s new turbo-four engine.

2024 Lexus GX Price and Release Date

Lexus GX 2024 Release Date. We anticipate that the 2024 Lexus GX will come in the second half of 2023, with a base price of approximately $55,000.
