2023 Acura Integra, Hybrid, Type R, AWD Full Review New

It should be interesting to see what the Acura Integra has in store for their fans in 2023 – and possibly future fans who will be over the moon on a luxury ride. It is a good thing that the luxury division (Acura) will soon relaunch the premium palette to create a stylized effect in the compact luxury segment. The all-new 2023 Acura Integra was created to replace the ILX sedan, which was considered old and outdated.

It may be a plan to launch (and promote) an exotic sporty ride amid the “attack” and era of SUVs, but it’s possible the company would want to create something different. They don’t want to be another major brand and car maker that just follows the flow. After all, the Integra played a vital role in Acura‘s development, so it only makes sense if the company wants to keep riding; And even improve it to a higher level.

2023 Acura Integra Planned next ride

The new 2023 Acura Integra will come with a six-speed manual transmission, while the automatic will be entirely optional. In fact, its overall underpinnings have been shared with the new Honda Civic. The Integra comes with a comparable 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder (which you can use in the Civic Si), although many people expect a stronger and better powertrain inside the (renewed) S-type. Hopefully there will be an R-type Acura Integra. . This should be interesting! The all-new ride will be produced in 2022, to be the 2023 model.

2023 Acura Integra power and transmission

Rumor has it that the new 2023 Acura Integra will be powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, although they haven’t said anything in detail about the horsepower. With this kind of setup, it’s possible that the new Acura 200 will be standard, with either a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission. It’s very likely that the Acura will only come with front-wheel drive, but it will have a limited-slip differential as standard.

Confirmation about the Integra came as a surprise after the company “introduced” the NSX Type S at Monterey Car Week 2021. The teaser ran in the form of drone shows, but it didn’t go as planned. It was still amazing, but not in a sense everyone could have imagined. In any case, people can learn more about the details of the new compact and sporty car and what it should look like.

2023 Acura Integra Design and appearance

Several teasers appeared on the network about the new 2023 Acura Integra. In September, the company released a teaser image showing the appearance of the Integra with a hatchback design and a five-door setup. This will be the first time the Integra has carried a five-door hatchback after the third-generation Integra. It’s a nice surprise, although some fans are hesitant about this design with regard to the Integra, which has long been associated with the two-door design.

Due to the introductory image, several teaser images have appeared on the network. But the Integra is all about “fun to drive,” which means you don’t have to take this element out of the car; Regardless of design and layout. Design-wise, however, it’s good to know that Acura is focused (and serious, too) on its upcoming performance cars — again. It would be great to know that a more reliable flight can be expected from them.

2023 Acura Integra Price and release date

Integra will be offered in two versions. The base Integra is expected to cost around $30,000, while the Sport S-Type will sell for $40,000. Acura hasn’t said anything about an exact release date and price, but since production began in 2022, the Integra will likely be available in late 2022 or early 2023. We should learn more about the 2023 Acura Integra once the company releases detailed updates and the latest announcement.

2023 Acura Integra Hybrid

A new Acura Integra will appear next year and we expect an electrified version to arrive around the same time. After a long absence of twenty years, the historic Integra nameplate is back, more attractive and elegant. As far as we know, the 2023 Acura Integra Hybrid will not differ at all from the recently revealed prototype.

Based on some rumors, the new Integra will run on the same platform as the current Civic Si. Also, the regular 1.5-liter model will be turbocharged in four parts, along with a differential lock. However, we doubt it will deliver at least 200 horsepower under the Integra. The hybrid model will probably be the pinnacle of the show, and we both expect better fuel economy.

2023 Acura Integra Hybrid: What can we expect?

The new Integra will likely run on the same platform as the Civic C. However, the 2023 Acura Integra Hybrid variant will likely use the same, which will need to be modified to support a battery and electric motor.

The regular model that debuted a few days ago sports a beautiful new Acura grille, front and rear LED lights, and “INTEGRA” embossed on the front and rear fenders. We also noticed a roof that gently overflows at the end through a thin wing on the roof cover. Unlike previous models, the new one comes in Indy Yellow Pearl paint, which makes this sedan look even sportier.

2023 Acura Integra Hybrid Interior

Despite a complete exterior revamp, the new 2023 Acura Integra Hybrid is likely to come with a new interior as well. Several reports indicate that this sedan will likely offer more amenities than the Civic Si or even the ILX. So expect a very comfortable interior that seats five and offers very supportive seating.

In terms of technology, the Acura Integra Hybrid will offer significantly more infotainment than the current ILX model. We also expect Apple CarPlay/Android Auto smartphone integration to be standard, along with Bluetooth connectivity and a pair of USB-C ports. The safety section will be much better and will include forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, lane keep assist and adaptive cruise control.

2023 Acura Integra Hybrid Specifications

Despite the regular 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engines, the manufacturer will also offer a 2023 Acura Integra Hybrid version. As far as we know, this model will use an electric motor attached to a rear axle, providing a standard four-wheel drive.

The same powertrain design would also power the eleventh-generation Civic Type R. The fun fact is that the Integra was available in Japan with all-wheel drive (AWD), but not a hybrid.

2023 Acura Integra Hybrid Release Date, Price

The new 2023 Acura Integra Hybrid is likely to go on sale after the regular model release. As far as we know, the event will take place in Los Angeles on November 11, 2021.

We expect the base model to start at $30,000, while the hybrid, the top-of-the-line model, could cost upwards of $45,000.

2023 Acura Integra Type R

After confirming the return of the new Acura Integra, we just received some news about its upscale variant, the 2023 Acura Integra Type R. The upcoming model will get the same treatment that the recently spy Honda Civic Type R would. Same sportier design inside and likely also using the same engine.

The upcoming Type R Civic is available with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that delivers 306 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. However, we don’t yet know if this engine will use a standard manual transmission or a dual-clutch automatic transmission to match other performance models.

2023 Acura Integra Type R Exterior

There is currently no picture available for the 2023 Acura Integra Type R. Overall, we expect it to have the same sporty look as the Civic Type R. It has a wing support and a smaller hood opening.

As you can see, the typical R-type design elements are retained. However, we expect more modifications to the Integra. Many believe it will come with a large rear spoiler, aggressive front air intakes, a sporty rear diffuser, and side skirts. Although we don’t expect you to get the same mid-end exhaust tips as the Civic.

2023 Acura Integra Type R Cabin Interior

Inside, the 2023 Acura Integra Type R will be no less attractive than the Civic Type R. Overall, both models will offer the same sporty interior with many optional amenities. We suppose the Acura Integra Type R offers more comfort than the Civic, as well as more technology and higher-quality materials.

Inside, we can at least expect a large 9.0-inch center touchscreen and 10.2-inch digital instrument panel, just like the latest Civic. However, given all of the above, Honda could also add some sporty tweaks to stand up to the Integra on the market. Many think it will get a new flat handlebar with some red or synthetic carbon fiber.

2023 Acura Integra Type R rumors about the powertrain

For now, there are only rumors about the 2023 Acura Integra Type R engine. The first is that it will use the same powertrain as the upcoming 2023 Honda Civic Type R. The 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that will power the upcoming Civic.

Other than the above, we expect it to generate more power, around 306 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. At the moment, we don’t have any information on whether this engine will be available with a standard manual transmission, or if it will use a dual-clutch automatic transmission.

2023 Acura Integra Type R Release date and price

Unfortunately, this form is not yet official. On the other hand, the regular model has been confirmed and we can expect it to arrive sometime next year.

The price is said to start at less than $40,000 for the base model. However, the price will go up significantly with the Type R treatment. We expect the Type R to start around $55,000 for the standard equipment model.

2023 Acura Integra AWD

Honda‘s luxury car division will relaunch an iconic nameplate called the 2023 Acura Integra later in the year. Definitely, this car will rock the entry-level luxury compact car segment and should replace the old ILX sedan. The new Integra will share its foundations with the upcoming Honda Civic based on available information.

It will use a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that also powers the Civic Si. However, we’re still hopeful that the new model will get S-type handling and a more powerful engine. The most exciting news is that the Integra can be offered with front-wheel drive or optional all-wheel drive, which officials recently confirmed.

2023 Acura Integra AWD Exterior

As we can see from the first set of photos, the new 2023 Acura Integra AWD looks distinctly modern compared to the previous model. It features the latest Acura design language with signature LED lighting and the attractive “Diamond Pentagon” front grille. The front and rear fenders look modern, and they now have retro “INTEGRA” emblems in the plastic.

We also noticed more visible taillights thanks to the new graphics. There are also rumors of a Type S model, and we can expect this variant to get a more aggressive body, especially at the front.

2023 Acura Integra AWD Cabin Rumors

The interior of the 2023 Acura Integra AWD is certainly sporty and modern. Since this model shares the same platform as the Civic, we assume it will also borrow many features from this vehicle. Plus, many believe it will get the same treatment as the beautiful TLX model. This means that it can introduce a lot of high-quality technology and materials.

Acura‘s True Touchpad interface, connected to a 9.0-inch touch screen, may also appear. Other features we also expect to have include wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

2023 Acura Integra AWD Engie Specifications

The new 2023 Acura Integra AWD will be, as the name suggests, officially available with all-wheel drive. Acura also recently revealed that the upcoming model will be available with a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. However, at the moment we do not have any information about the horsepower.

By the way, many would expect to see at least 200 horsepower from this treadmill, with a choice of a six-speed manual gearbox or an automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive will likely be standard, while AWD with Ultra Torque Vectoring may be available as an optional or standard feature on some high-performance models.

2023 Acura Integra AWD Price

The new 2023 Acura Integra starts from many claims around $30,000 for the base model. Just for comparison, at this price, the Integra costs more than the Mercedes-Benz A-Class and BMW 2 Series Gran Coupé. When the powerful Type S model arrives, it will definitely cost a lot more than the standard Integra.

Unfortunately, we don’t have official information about the Integra’s powertrain production, pricing and exact features at this time, but we can expect more information in the coming weeks.
