Many confirmations have been made about the 2024 Ram 1500. The car will come with electric power for the 2024. General Motors has been busy lately. Even when they decided not to participate in the 2022 CES (Consumer Electronics Show), their only online reveal turned out to be a huge success. It mainly goes to the Chevy Silverado EV that will appear in 2023.
But the company has a busy week planned ahead of a plan to double the F-150 Lightning. Meanwhile, Carlos Tavares, CEO of Stellantis, has claimed that there will be a Ram 1500 EV launched in 2024, on schedule. Tavares doesn’t seem to care about Truck Wars because they focus only on their production – and do their best to craft products.
2024 Ram 1500 Redesign
While the 2024 Ram 1500 EV has been confirmed, the vehicle will not immediately replace the internal combustion engine version. While the company has already planned long-term production related to the battery electric unit, it will only introduce an EV model from 2024 and gradually up its game from there.
Now that the company is part of Stellantis, the new 1500 EV is likely to come in a new build or platform. It may not provide many details at the moment, but it is likely that the platform is set up and could support fast charging up to 150 kW. Expect other improvements such as the charging station finder, different driving modes, pre-conditioning, energy monitoring (EV trip) and many more. Aries will target 500 miles for their wattage, and given that they’re in the development stage, they’re likely to “change” the system now. By comparison, the new F-150 Ford Lightning has a coverage of up to 300 miles. The GMC Hummer EV can drive 350 miles. This means that if an Aries can run 500 miles, they’ve done some pretty amazing work for it.

2024 Ram 1500 electric car plans
Following the merger of PSA Group and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (and resulting in Stellantis), the company has an ambitious and modernizing plan. For starters, they plan to build electric versions of their 14 brands, using the new (and allegedly advanced) STLA frame architecture. For the 2024 Ram 1500, it is designated as one of four battery electric vehicle platforms for the upcoming model. The claimed 500 miles can be achieved using battery packs between 159 and 200 kWh. This technology not only provides satisfactory mileage performance, but also provides fast 60mph time, fast charging time and also great technologies that can beat other competitors. The company plans to have electricity (at least to some extent) for all of its cars by 2025. So, Ram is also preparing for a (medium-sized) fuel cell commercial vehicle that will be available later in 2022 — possibly by the end of the year.
After all, the company based its electrification strategy on BEV (Battery Electric Vehicle) platforms. There will be a small STLA with a coverage range of 300 miles, then a medium STLA with 440 miles, a large STLA with 500 miles and an STLA tire with 500 miles coverage as well. 2024 Dodge RAM 1500 EV
The 2024 Dodge RAM 1500 EV will be the first all-electric version of the regular half-ton truck. In addition to the traditional chassis construction on the frame and standard all-wheel drive, Ram claims the truck will have a driving range of 500 miles and will tow more than 10,000 pounds.

2024 Dodge RAM 1500 EV Towing Capacity
